Customizing Our Kitchen | Building A House Episode 23

In this building a house episode we build a custom stone range wall. Range wall is completely custom to this spot in our kitchen. Lisa's interior design skills showed as she drew up this design. The range cover will stretch in between our pantry cabinets and go from the countertop all the way to the ceiling. This will be a show stopper in our kitchen because it will take up 3/4 of our kitchen wall and it will be covered in stone. The style of our home was inspired by Mountain Homes in Colorado. In order to make that come to life we brought organic materials into the house like the stone and reclaimed wood.

My goodness, my wife would like to thank you twice, once for the amazing design idea truly one of the most amazing features we've ever seen. Also she can't remember the last time I was completely speechless when watching something. Two thumbs wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy up, really doesn't do it justice. Think about years from now you are going to be able to look at it and just burst with pride over not just how it looks, but the fact YOU did it making your vision a reality.... outstanding.

gorgeous kitchen! None of you, I believe, have ever worked in a kitchen preparing food. A certain amount of grease will get on the stone, shelves, and surface of the objects, making clean-up tasks more difficult after using the appliance. but I want the best for you two. ❤🤍💚
