She should have explained they were for short hair and be cut as they didn't look good, they looked very obvious which is not the goal of extensions. If you're to put something like this online, people are allowed to also have an opinion. They don't need to be rude but they can criticise.

I don't get how anyone needs to be mean on here. For god sake...we are talking HAIR, not world politics. This is suppose to educate and help for those doing stuff at home. And be fun and love! So I come here to give my eyes some peace and warmth, cos she is a beautiful woman with the most transformative hair and it just is satisfying to watch. Something I do regret that I started reading and writing comments😂😅 So many unhappy and angry suffering people out there that just throw out their toxic waste onto youtubers... So sad and totally not ok.

No one is allowed opinions anymore, because people have heart failure if you say you don't like something, I grew up in the early ninedies we survived someone sayings something critical, I once dyed my hair black after it was bleached blonde no one liked it but life went on and I survive...we didn't get triggered like this back then I didn't see any hate comments btw I saw people wondering why the extensions came out like that.

@@jenniferallen2234 I agree people can criticise and have an opinion IF they are well made constructive criticism made to HELP and not a guise to blantly hate and harass someone for their looks and talent like most of the people here do recently. Stella actually talked about this in a prior video and most of those people completely ignored it. I saw people who had genuine feedback and insights about this and sothers who just hate stella regardless what she did 💀 I don't dismiss what you said but the thing is most of the people out here are just aggresively saying they hate stella for being boring, basic, wasteful and dumb during this whole extension situation and honestly when she cut her hair short💁‍♂️

Same i have my hair so fried and I never thought I could get extensions in the too of my head cause hair is so short there just like Stella's pixie, but omg the stylist made literally magic i wish I could get extensions like those

People really need to keep negative stuff to themselves, it’s literally not hard. I do it all the time on the internet, I bite my tongue on the daily, whenever I see bullshit or something I don’t like. Being rude to someone should not be easy, keeping mean things to yourself shouldn’t be hard and if it is then you shouldn’t be online, because you’re clearly a crappy person 🤷🏻‍♀️ Everyone needs to think before they speak.

Now that its cut the extensions look SO good and that explains the placement. I always thought it looked good (you had so short hair i never expected them to look 100% like a real haircut) but these blend in so well now.

I feel awful that they are giving hate to the hairdresser, who did absolutely nothing wrong! Of course any kind of extensions are going to look off when there is such a huge length difference! He couldn’t have blended them any better. His technique was beautiful and I’m so glad you defended him! Keep making amazing content for us!

i feel like some people might not understand her excitement because they have different feelings towards hair. even if a result isnt perfect i think stellas reactions are amazing and inspiring to be ok with results that might not be what anyone wants or expects. i love seeing people express themselves with their hair and I think that stylist did a great job with the extensions. thats gotta be such a difficult process to put all the keratin in, escpecially on short hair, gonna go leave a comment on the other video now!

I don't understand people. Why do they have to make such negative comments. Know that it's them, not you. There are always people whose lives are so empty they have to tear others down for no reason. Try and ignore them (easier said than done). I watch your videos because they are interesting and you are clearly very experimental with your hair which is why we watch. I love how excited you are in your videos Stella. I’ve said it before! I love that you’re full of positivity and that you are your own hype man because we could all use a dose of that! When something doesn’t come out as you expected, sometimes it still looks great. And that’s such a good way of looking at things because so many of us can be discouraged by these minor setbacks and never try again because failure sucks, instead of looking at the happily little accidents. And when things go really really wrong, you tell us! Idk, I feel like you’re one of the most real content creators on this platform.

I can relate to you on so many things. I live vicariously through you, having your own salon, trying new things on your own hair bc not everyone can handle unexpected results, etc. The thing that stands out to me that some people fail to see is your positivity & genuine love for what you do. You taught me that there's beauty in everything especially the journey. Throughout your channel, all I see is positivity, courage, curiosity, passion & simply having fun while doing what you love. My dream is to become a licensed cosmetologist; what excites you about hair transformations excites me as well, no matter the result, seeing you giddy about your iconic short bob also made me happy especially bc you thought my vid suggestion was a great idea & actually tried it! I thought the extentions looked a bit sparse before cut, but your explanation makes sense and they look much better in a bob. I'd be interested to see the color touch up. I like 2 tone hair but it does exaggerate the line between natural hair and extentions. I'm not sure what the hate was about or why people are taking what you do with your hair so personally. Of the hundreds of styles you've tried, obviously not all of them will be for everyone.

You haven't faked a single thing, you are literally sacrificing your hair to show us different looks. Also, I love this look!! I do have an idea that may be cool, you could try a hair topper! It could be cool to cover the short hair and show people how. I saw a lady who had a pixie and he also had a halo extension and hair topper for when she wanted a longer look. It was so cool.

I literally said in your last video that people had NO clue what you had plans for when you got these extensions and if they were bothered oh so damn badly about it - they could leave til you did something else. None of the comments were helpful or constructive on any level because they did not have all the information.. while you didn’t fully outright say it - it was obvious you were just having fun with the extensions until you decided to do what you really wanted (which if people patiently waited and enjoyed your videos for what they are, now we have this video!).. it annoyed me so much because this channel is meant to be fun and inspiring and people just literally had fun tearing you down, along with the person who did the extensions. Anyways, I’ll finish the rest of the video now - I’m very excited to see how this turns out! Finished the video and loved everything you said, but omg your hair looks so good!! This cut always does tho - you shine with confidence more than usual with this haircut. Excited for what’s next for sure 🫶🏼

in all honesty, i keep following you *because* of your excitement. especially the excitement from unexpected results. for me, thats relatable. because YES! we've all gotten results we didnt plan for, but sometimes we still love those results! it took me 2 years to get a specific hair color i wanted, but it was so worth it to keep trying because my "failed" colors were so pretty i felt beautiful even through the "failures" not every unexpected result is something worth crying over. i relate to that attitude and it helps me maintain my own positivity. dont let anyone shame you for being positive, its a dying trait in a lot of people and we need as much positivity as we can get 💞

Tbh Stella you are an absolutely BEAUTIFUL woman who can pull off literally ANY hair style color or cut! With that being said I have been a follower of your for a long time and seen many transformations and your reaction to each one is simply positive! You try different shades and mixtures and experiments I have heard you say many time that it didn't come out how you wanted but what are you supposed to do bust out in tears and throw a fit if you don't like it. Being in the public eye you handle it the way you should with positivity. You look at it glass half full and I love that about you. On another note this type of videos help me to know and recognice how to hold my hair when I cut it myself in a short bob. Mostly the back that is more dificult. So thank you honestly. You have always been hones when you like or don't like the outcome and if you don't read the comments or just a few ,that is ok. Soc med, is extremely draining. People keep saying she’s unhappy and shit - they are making her that way. She’s coming up dry on ideas cuz she’s done them all - she can’t think of anything else. Like people need to just accept things for what they are instead of what they want or wish it to be. It’s highly annoying seeing such comments on such fun videos. Videos that don’t always have perfect outcomes and she’s always been okay with that!

I saw some of the comments on your last few video, and I’m glad you gracefully addressed them. I’ve watched your videos for years and always say that you’re experimenting and don’t really care too much about the final results. It’s one of the things that make it so fun to watch you. ALSO, I’d rather you didn’t read or reply to comments if that exposes you to ones that negatively impact you. I love your creativity and I’d rather you feel like you can be yourself. I’d much rather you put energy into making great videos than read or reply to comments.

I also don’t think a lot of people understand when you install extensions even if you want them long you have to cut them they turned out so awesome I also LOVE the way you did your hair color previously and how it looks with the bob 😍
