This is the complete show (minus commercials) as it aired in Evansville, Indiana on February 1, 1986. Some great action in this one, including The Fantastics (Bobby & Tommy) vs. Tony Falk & Keith Eric; Rick Casey & Dirty Rhodes vs. The Raiders; Koko Ware vs. The Patriot; Nature Boy Buddy Landel & Dirty Dutch Mantel (aka Zeb Colter) vs. Tracy Smothers & Billy Travis
This is during the time when Jerry Lawler is out of the territory due to losing a loser leaves town match with Bill Dundee, and Dundee is feeling his oats as the AWA Southern Heavyweight Champion. Tony Falk is on an extended winless streak that Lance and Dave are keeping track of. Koko Ware and Buddy Landel are feuding over the NWA Mid-America Heavyweight Championship.

Glad to hear it! That is why I post these clips. I started watching CWA in '86 and am reliving my childhood by watching and sharing some of those memories. I'll check and if I have them I'll post them.

Why was Koko so rough with the Patriot? Was it because the jobber tried to get some offense in on him at the start of the match? The slap to the face at the end of the match was really out of character for him.

Koko was a bit heelish in that match, but maybe Lance and Dave have it right (kayfabe) that Koko saw the video clip and got upset. Of course it could have been that something happened between them that generated some heat and Koko took it out on the Patriot in that TV match.
