Pretty daring of Bam Bam for climbing to the top rope considering the Memphis ring's propensity to break

Tracy Smothers later teamed with Steve Armstrong and became the Wild Eyed Southern Boys and then with John Paul and became the Mason/Dixon Connection in the Memphis territory.

The team of Rough ‘n’ Ready (Larry and Cleo Reeves, formerly the Dirty Black Boys) were a couple of jobbers behind the masks, they had never won any tag team matches in the Memphis territory.

That could be what happened. I thought it odd that neither Lance or Dave Brown mentioned that was Tracy's second match, almost as though as if they didn't want to draw attention to it.

Mr. Liberty looks a lot like an Armstrong under a mask. And after checking Cagematch results, Brad Armstrong just happened to have no matches listed on the 2 Saturdays that Mr. Liberty appeared in Memphis.

I wonder if someone no-showed and he was put into an extra match. In any case, you don't see double duty a whole lot on TV. Tracy was pretty much over by this point, hence the chants from the audience.
