I purchased the case and deck separately. The case was about $180 when I bought from a Japanese seller, and the deck was over 470 Canadian dollars. My advice: if you want items in the set but now willing to pay their asking price for the full package, eBay is selling pieces individually.

Without the briefcase and the framed Blue Eyes, I can see this as a $20‐$30 deck. All the money is in the briefcase.

thick high quality acrylic is actually pretty expensive as well. id say there's at least 70, closer to 100 in the acrylic and then the rest is the brefcase.

The blue eyes white dragons look absolutely beautiful. The briefcase isn’t worth $1k. It needs to come down to 4 to 5 hundred dollars

Fun fact: Life Shaver is actually a Yugi/Yami card, not Seto's card. Yugi uses Exchange and Seto takes it during their battle city finals duel. In fact, Seto activates it causing Slifer to lose attack to match Obelisk and enter that weird past realm that Yami and Seto are floating over. Also instead of Masked Beast Des Gardius (which he only revealed in order to go first in the 4 way duel leading up to the finals) they should've added Cyber Jar instead. And grappler is actually used by the Ghost Kaiba in Duelist Kingdom. You should also get 2 Flute of Summoning Dragon because Seto used 2.

Respectfully the price is TGH (Too gotdamn High) 150-200 sure but for that much, i want more bells and whistles for the product. Custom numbered playmat. 500 for such a small amount in that seems like a wasted purchase.

It's cool and all, but not worth 500. Not even close. The OCG briefcase has an identical brief case, and the Blue-eyes cards have the original formal (ATK and DEF in a box) but the cost is 250. I would much rather grab the Japanese one.

The brief case is heavier than it looks. I love it! Always wanted a special brief case, mainly kaiba's case! The blue eyes are gorgeous and have a unique rarity

I think it should have cost 250 to 300. But of all the Secret Lair like products that Konami has released (Masterpiece Collection, Pot Collection, Stainles Steel Egyptian Gods) this is by far the best because you at least get something for your money here.

It's kind of funny that cyber knight that can stop a bullet . In the Japanese version didn't even show Kaiba using his briefcase as shield to stop a bullet 😂

Its odd to say but that this WAS the most reasonably priced thing theyve released- 400 isnt much compared to the platinum series or the metal god cards at the same price- by far the most value for dollar product theyve done and itll only increase in price- in comparison to the others that arent as popular

The only problem that if we have to pay in advance, they should take as many orders as they can within a timeframe. I couldn't order one even though I tried to order within the time frame they mentioned. I think they said until out of stock but thats kind of harsh imo for the price. Sometimes it's not simple to make decisions.

its really cool, but not 5 hundred cool, i really wish they had an option to just buy the deck without any of the extras. I don't care about the case, I don't care about the 3 blue eyes, I don't care about the 25th blue eyes, i just want the anime deck for the cool ultra rare rarity bumps and attack guidance armor.

i think it's worth the 400 initial usd that it costed. sucks konami is being cheap on having us pay for shipping but otherwise it's solid product. acrylic is expensive in such quantities and clarities, and the briefcase itself is very strong and sturdy. i used it on a trip(two days ago actually) and it held up really well. Didn't have any scratches when i got back and kept everything in place the cards themselves are really good quality as well, and qc on them is fantastic. I wouldn't pay more than lets say 600. 500ish would be a solid price but anything more is a little iffy. i got mine for 450 everything included and think the aftermarket prices are a little absurd and it sucks its the price people pay for konami's wrong doing as they didn't show us which blue eyes we'd be getting.

English has more value. Right now $1000 to $1300 for English and $230 to $330 for Japanese.

Kind of weird that there's only 2 Blue Eyes White Dragons in the Structure Deck instead of 3. One with the Globe, one with the flying art, and the one with LOB. Also Obelisk should've been Quarter Century.

I bought two, flipped one, saved one. I technically got mine for free. Sold the deck sealed for 400 on mercari, sold 1 blue eyes for 300, and the other 2 for 250 each at locals. Fastest flip ever, just wish I maxes out at 10.

Been in love with YGO for as long as I can remember and if I told younger me I got Kaiba's briefcase, he'd probably lose it. You're not wrong though, $500 is kinda insane. As a collector though, I feel like it's worth it.

The bottom line is, if you're a Blue Eyes/Kaiba collector, this set WAS absolutely worth the initial cost and now it's damn near impossible to get. I'm willing to bet a lot of this set's hate is from people that are justifying not buying it while they had the opportunity to do so, and now regret it. It's an already expensive product that, by the looks of things, has effectively trippled in value IF you can even find one being sold. The cards are printed on OCG stock, the product is solid for $400, the 3 Secret Rare Blue Eyes now sell for over $300 a piece, and with the exclusive QCR that puts the value at over 1k with JUST 4 cards. I'm willing to bet a few of y'all are just pissed at yourself. Missed opportunity to more than double the $400 initial spending cost.

Brazil economy sucks. 500$= 2500R$. Minimum wage (salary). We need to pay to governrment 100% off a purchase. So... 500$ become 1000$. You need to work for 5-6 months without use your money in anything to buy this.

Everyone in the comments is so slow saying this isn’t worth the money. Most these cards have never been printed in ultra rare, the blue eyes secret rare has never been reprinted and this reprint is exclusive to a certain number of copies, & the briefcase is sturdy & high quality. This is 100% worth more than they sold it for which is why the aftermarket sales are going as high as 1,000 dollars. Y’all are so mad for whatever reason but I’m just going to assume yall couldn’t afford it

Blue Eyes prismatic secret rare were never reprinted until Kaiba's briefcase. Then Blue Eyes with the earth on the background quarter century rare were made to order only.

But the entire deck is foil, and most of these cards have never had a foil printing. Yes I know this still comes nowhere near to the $500. $200 would be a fairer price I think. It is a nice collectors item.
