in today's video, me and Brian wondered if it was possible, to navigate and cycle across an entire country, without a map, or any form of technology to help! Enjoy :)

There’s a 12 mile coast to coast ride in Cornwall, the mineral tramways trail from Devoran to Portreath. You can make it a true coast to coast by riding a further 7 miles to a beach in Falmouth.

Thanks for the video boys, I've never done that route but you've inspired me to do it sometime in 2021 when I've had my Jab (LOL). I think Wallsend could have been mentioned - you will maybe have passed through it - due to the rather obvious origin of its name!. It's not on the coast though, so I see why you went to Tynemouth. Regarding Bowness-on-Solway, for a time there was a railway line across the Solway Firth from Annan to Bowness. On Sundays people from Annan would sometimes walk across it to have a beer in Bowness, as the pubs in Scotland used to be closed on Sundays. Don't know how many drunken Scots fell off and drowned on the way back!

Thank you Cameron, that was yet another fun episode. It would have been a lot easier during a sunny day, but sunny days during the first months of the year in England are an oxymoron. What's next coast to coast in the US? To spice things up, in a country you can't speak the language, say Porto to Barcelona, 1000 klicks lost in translation.

Good effort! Shame I didn’t know you were in the area. You cycled past my Airbnb when you went past St James. I live really close to the Military Road, where you stopped and talked to the cyclist in Heddon. The easiest route from there was to drop down to the river path and cycle along there. The only thing you missed was the view! lol Great video though, really enjoyed it. Keep the content coming.

This come about as our bike computer with the map on it went US within 15 miles! We had to finish it that day, we were doing for our own personal charities, we had to complete it in under 24 hrs as well. Heres the proof.www.strava.com/routes/15741689 anyone can do it, with a bit of grit and determination, plus ask a lot of people on the way:)
