The handguard may feel cheap but it’s shouldn’t break when it’s shot. I have the M16A2 and it’s the same material its been shot before and hasn’t broken. Don’t worry about it.

The handgaurd is supposed to feel cheep, in Vietnam they called it the Mattel gun because Mattel literally made the stock and handgaurd for it.

Yeah, polymer is really light too. The gun in real life is really light.

true, but it also had aluminum heat shields on the inside of the real one, which add a little weight and help make it sturdier.

Mattel had nothing whatsoever to do with any rifle never mind the AR15 nor the M16 it’s a claim that can’t be proven not even one photo anywhere!.

Not true Mattel never made anything but toys, they were a toy company, soldiers first time picking up AR15 compared it to a kids toy rifle because it was unbelievably light compared to an M14 or M1 Thompson, etc ‘wooden’ rifles the name stuck and rumours spread an the Mattel gun was talked about, However not one Mattel gun was ever seen or produced or exists let alone a photo or indeed any gun with the word Mattel markings on any part especially the AR platform or indeed any firearm, so don’t be party in spreading lies half truths or rumours, by the way it’s all over the tube hole videos about this subject can be watched!.

Buttstock and flash hider are correct for the M16A1. The short butt without butt trap, articulated rear sling swivel, three prong flash hider and partial fence lower receiver were on the earlier XM16E1 which was the most common variant issued in Vietnam prior to the 1967 adoption of the M16A1. CYMA do the XM16E1 as the CM.009C

Hey man you shouldn’t put a three prong flash hider on it. It’s an M16A1, the older variants like the M16, and the XM16E1 have the three prong, the A1 mostly had the birdcage.

hi, I wanted to ask you how the hop up of your replica works. I bought this shotgun too but I don't understand if the hop up works badly or the model is just like that. Power 1J and the pellets arrive safely at 50 meters closing all the hop up. But usually with all the replicas I have, I never get to close to the maximum because the pellets would fly upwards, but with this replica to get to 50 meters I have to close it to the maximum without ever the risk of them flying high. Moreover, I noticed that at the end of the meters the ball does not fall gradually but overhanging. I wanted to understand if yours was like that or mine that has something wrong with it.

Polymer tends to feel cheap but is pretty strong. The weight of that gun is really accurate to what an m16A1 weighs. They were designed to be lightweight.

@@That_oneguy_mane dang that’s cool to know! I got to get my gun fixed up, I took it to the desert Fox event and something happened to it. The gun shoots by itself and not responsive to trigger pulls.

@@airsoft1174 hmm yeah the gear box. My m16A1 is coming tomorrow! I cannot wait and I am going to put a custom gear pox that makes it burst fire and semi auto

@@That_oneguy_mane Yeah I think it might be the mosfet, other than that the stock internals are actually pretty darn good! The fps and joules was classed as sniper/marksman. It’s a Great weapon! I hope you enjoy it!

Is this gun worth the price and I want to buy the matrix M16 bayonet for this gun and I was wondering if they can work together and what tier did you buy because I want to buy the standard version because they don’t make a platinum version and finally how do take off the orange tip.

So first off, I used this thing a few times out on the field and it performs very well and packs a punch as is. For the price of $175 it was worth it. I purchased the “CYMA Standard M16A1 Airsoft AEG Rifle” which was on the order information. -To take off the orange tip I wiggled the piece off, it’s not secured on very well. Only with a pin in place, so you can somewhat easily take the tip off. - In terms of the bayonet, I cannot guarantee that would work as I have never tested any bayonets on the rifle. Apologies for that, I have no clue. If I find out I’ll reply to the comment! ALSO there is another rifle with accurate engravings and such by colt, www.evike.com/products/20476/ I don’t know anything about the internals of the Helios rifle but I’m looking into purchasing this later on and reviewing it. I use a 11.1 lipo, and nunchucks, but be careful with lipo batteries in this thing, I don’t think it can handle that much

@@britishbastard6561 yeah that’s tough, I would look into reviews for both. The CYMA M16 is decent for the price I got it, but it’s $200 now. There was another M16 I saw by Helios and it looked very accurate.

It comes with a standard m4 high cap, the Vietnam short style mags were bought separately.

@@airsoft1174 I think it's trash.... I just received the CYMA M16A1 today, I wanted this gun for months, I spent 3 months saving for it, I waited 2 weeks for it to arrive.... And when it came it had a crack on it, when test firing, the BB's came out with 2 rounds and dropped to the ground, 1 and it shot 5 feet, or none at all. Then I made an effort to fix it and the gun worked and now is not responding at all. Contacted swit Airsoft and they said they wouldn't take it back.... Yea I sat in my room and cried for about an hour

@@codymckernan3556 dang dude, sorry to hear that. Your gun was definitely defective, I haven’t purchased anything from swift Airsoft so I’m not sure about how they manage their products. I got mine from Evike.com and it was in perfect condition. I do know that Evike has policy that says they will not take products back that have been opened/modified.

@@codymckernan3556 I would take your gun in to a shop or send it to a technician to fix it. Or watch a lot of videos and figure out the ins and outs of your gun and find a fix for it. But yeah that sucks dude. I hope you find a solution.

Honestly I would go with the Helios version, I heard it’s about the same as this but way more accurate, it even has the Colt engraving on it. www.evike.com/products/20476/ But if you want the one in the review video here it is www.evike.com/products/90930/
