Kid has an abrasize side of the sponge and steady going against the grain!! Should have let the boy run the rag!! Kids! Gotta love em!! Good video though! Thanks for the upload!

Yes, I have used this. Works great, and the rinse off is so much easier than polishes that leave heavy residue to wipe off. And, as usual, you can repeat for a bit more shine, but just one time helps a lot. Especially great for really dirty/old cymbals.

Just tried this on my Paiste cymbals. Made kind of a paste with it. Worked awesome! Don't scub too hard though! Finish with a wax for a little extra protection! Looks great!!👍

You should never rub across the lathing. Always rub in the direction of the lathe pattern.

I got most of my cymbals used and already dirty and corroded. Never heard what they sound like clean but love the sounds they all make. Been debating whether to try cleaning them. I also have some not corroded ones I got more recently I like the sound of too

Rub the powder in with a little water to make a paste then let it sit for a while and come back and wash rub with sponge until the suds/paste starts looking really dirty. Rinse and then repeat as necessary

A series have a clear coat. When you polish they could use a new coat.

After you dry it well, Take some Pledge on a microfiber or terry cloth and polish it out.

Avoid the logos if you want to keep them. Zildjian also sprays a fine polymer on some of the higher end cymbals. If you want to keep that on, I would not use an abrasive.

I've been using B.C.F. to clean my cymbals for decades. Fastest, easiest way to clean them for sure. Clean twice for best results...

Please let me know if using this to clean cymbals will the original sound of the cymbal be damaged? Thank you. I come from Vietnam
@stevenwilson98657 ай бұрын
@@ngochungmai1452 clean cymbals tend to have a brighter sound. The tarnish/oxidation will dry and darken the sound. And drummers prefer both!

have used this in the past...it cleans...but will also remove the sprayed on letters on the cymbal also..so watch

Who cares about that. Is Zildjian paying you to use their cymbals? You know what you have, that's what matters.

ZUD works better and easier with little effort. It is less abrasive.
