My name is Eric and I travel with my cat, “Jax” in a 2001 Chevy Fleetwood Tioga Arrow 24D Class C RV. We travel about 35 miles a day chasing 70 degrees year-round. Here is my gear & some popular questions answered:

In the south they are called swings, not rocking chairs hanging from a tree. You will also see these swings on porches.

I’m glad my husband and I aren’t the only ones who eats with our cats lol. You always lift my spirits. I use to go with another name my cats name Bonnie. But now I’m my nick name my daddy gave me years ago. I’ve been with you for almost the beginning. Over 3 years and you still lift my spirits so thank you!

Great video! Those 'stalagmites' in the swamp are the cypress tree 'knees'. They are part of the root system that grow upward. Looking forward to heading south myself later this month - I've got an inch of snow on the ground in Kentucky this morning... :-(

Hope you don't mind a friendly reminder to take extra care around those swampy lagoons if you walk Jax. Recently 1 woman killed by gator walking her dog, another woman attacked and just a few days ago a man was attacked. They caught the gator and it still had the man's tennis shoe in its mouth. Animal experts say the gators attack because they see a small animal accompanied by a human. Just sayin... Be careful as I am sure you are anyway. Stay safe.

Beautiful! I love the scenery in the south. The Cyprus trees in the swamps, the sounds of the south and the smells. Those are the things I miss. Little bike seems to run really well. Safe travels Eric. Hi Jax, I would love to snuggle with you!!!

Yep I remember when two of my teenage sisters was swinging on the porch and one side of the swing chain broke and they fell sideways on top of each other and and the wood swing corner dug a long deep scratch on the wood porch floor. Luckily they didn't get hurt but it looked funny as heck cause I laughed my fanny off when I saw it happen. Thank you for the flashback :D

I've never heard anyone call them hanging rocking chairs...we just call them swings! I guess maybe that's a regional word difference.

Great job highlighting my home! I worked in Vicksburg and lived in Cary which is about a 45 minute trip. Between Redwood, MS and my town of Cary, Onward Store is the first store you come to on 61N. Nothing but farm fields in between. I use to love that drive.

That hanging bench is not a rocking chair. When hung on a porch, it is a porch swing. When hung under a tree, it is called a tree swing.

When you get to Louisiana, check out the haunted bed and breakfast in St. Francisville called "The Myrtles Plantation" Had a friend that was filming the grounds of one of the plantations, ( Not sure which one) and when she played back the video she heard a voice say " stop being so nosy"! I heard it, it was so cool! She had no one around her! But if you are afraid of ghost, I would stay away.

I always loved driving along the Great River Rd in Mississippi. I wouldn't want to live there more than a couple of months a year, however. Many of us can picture Tom Sawyer running along the shore of the Mississippi river.

Super nice video and so relaxing. Have you ever heard the country western song, “Just a Swinging”? Porch swings and yard swings have always been popular and a good place to chill anytime of the day. Just a cautionary thought, wear some gloves even light summer gloves, the first things to hit the ground are hands. Some will say its not cool to wear gloves, I speek from experience, you don't want to go through having dirt and rocks picked out of your hands, very painful. Ride safe, rubber side down
