Great line of videos. Keep up the good work. RWS R50 has been the most consistent ammo I have tested so far in my Vudoo. It easily prints 1hole groups repeatedly. However it’s more impressive at long range. It has been more consistent at distance up to and including 500y. I look forward to seeing the finally of this testing. 👌

I just discovered your channel a few days ago and I really like your content. Your ammo testing inspired me to go out yesterday and do some 50 yard testing myself. One that I tested was also the Pistol Match and I thought you might be interested in my results. RIFLE: CZ 455 action. 1.5 oz John Langley trigger. Match chamber Benchmark two groove 27 in. 1-16.5 twist barrel. Bedded Klinsky benchrest stock. Vortex Golden Eagle 15 to 60X52 scope, Eagle front rest, Custom adjustable rear rest. CONDITIONS: Partly cloudy, 93 degrees, Wind L&V, 3 to 5 mph I tested three different lots of Federal Ultramatch and one lot of Lapua Midas Plus, Eley Tenex, Eley Action, SK Flatnose Match, SK Flatnose Basic, SK Pistol Match, and SK Rifle Match. I started out with a well cleaned bore and ran two dry patches down the bore after each test. Each test consisted of four, 5 round groups for a total of 20 rounds in each test. Each test was recorded with my LabRadar for an average of each 20 round test. Group size measurement is center to center, measured from the outer edge to outer edge staining of the two furthest holes in the group. Each ammos center to center correction factor was calculated by measuring a single holes diameter, outer edge stain to outer edge stain, of the specific ammo, and subtracted from the gross measurement of each of its groups to arrive at its center to center group size. RESULTS: PISTOL MATCH: Four group Avg, .437 (.957, .437, .306, .275) LabRadar: Avg=1052 ft/sec. Hi 1063, Low 1040, Spread 22, SD 6.5, 20 rounds RIFLE MATCH: AVG .380 (.484, .367, .390, .280) LabRadar: Avg. 1036, Hi 1084, Low 1017, Spread 67, SD 16.2, 20 rounds. MIDAS PLUS: AVG .391 (.459, .425, .335, .327) LabRadar: Avg. 1044, Hi 1061, Low 1030, Spread 32, SD 9.3, 20 rounds. ELEY TENEX: AVG .375 ( .569, .367, .384, .181😳) LabRadar: Avg. 1095, Hi 1106, Low 1079, Spread 27, SD 6.7, 20 rounds FEDERAL ULTRAMATCH #436: AVG .358 (.308, .217, .460, .446) LabRadar: Avg. 1094, Hi 1108, Low 1078, Spread 30, SD 9.2, 20 rounds The Flatnose Basic outperformed the Flatnose Match with a .512 average vs a .618. SD's were 15.0 and 14.1 respectively.

I like these .22 accuracy videos and always watch them as soon as possible. I shot Five 300yard 6x5’s this morning myself.

Just discovered your channel and I just have to applaud the way you overlay the targets and ammo boxes and stuff in your videos, it might seem like a simple thing to some but it really makes for an excellent picture and that bit of extra effort and professionalism makes your channel very easy to watch. 👍 is this series over? did you do the final comparison video?

A few years back I was in Germany. I passed the hunting course Ann ought several rifles. One was the Brno Fox in.22 Hornet. I competed in the Jager Shoots ad came in 1st. Place in the 100 meter off hand soot.the next year I couldn’t get on paper. I was shootings RWS ammo. The weather was much colder. I found my impacts were 11” low across the board. This ammo is temperature sensitive. Be sure to re-zero when the weather humidity and the temperatures drop.

Great video as always. I shot a box of this stuff through my MTR and had similar results. Great ammo but very pricey. Overall my rifle likes RWS, so I've been sticking to Norma for now. I've been told the waxy coating does not do well in cold conditions. Not sure if anyone else had heard the same.

A friend of mine is the importer of Anschutz rifles and RWS ammo - GSI Trussville, AL. I spotted for his Anschutz salesman last Saturday at our .22 Sniper Match. Various flavors of SK are by far the best bang for the buck.

Just found the channel and I am loving it. I plan to get into shooting 22lr again, once I get back stateside. With the blue line discount that CZ gives I have been looking into the 457 line of rifles. Is this a stock rifle your running for these test? if so I am very impressed on how accurate it is with multiple ammo types.

Good info here. Each rifle is different but in my experience brands of rifles usually tend to like similar ammos. If a cz 22 likes sk ammo... There is a good chance most CZ 22s will like sk ammo. Thanks for this! My MTR likes geco bolt action but it freaking loves sk standard plus!

I hit a penny at 200 yards with it using my CZ 457 Varmint MTR, as well as a selection of other tiny objects at that distance. I do get some head scratchers when shooting for groups though. Some things are expensive because they are worth it.

Good video as always. Try RWS 100 for 100 yards . First 5 sighter shoots are to rebuild lead in a barrel, not to warm up the barrel. Any heat generally speaking isn't your friend. Have you try to compear different group boards ? If your rifle tend to close groups in second or third circle on the boards - 5 sighters + 10 rounds till get best group to me means that you have to clean your rifle ( one wet patch with rimfire bore tech solution , follow by two dry patches )by every 15-20 rounds for best results. Just saying , I may be wrong. Anschutz North America has RWS R 50 LOT Tests on sale so if someone is interested can order there . Around 17$ .

After a few 1000 rounds of CCI SV...I grabbed some CCI SubSonic HPs out of the safe...and found my 457 Jaguar LOVED THEM. Out of 16 5 shot groups at 25 yards with iron sights my 4 best groups were .21 .32 .38 .44 I was very happy with those. Then shot the IBS 50 target (at 25 yards) with cheap simmons 3x9 @ 9x scored 248 with 9x.

Instead of 2x 10 shot groups, do 4x 5 shot groups. Keep to the 5 shot "standard" and then the Kyl for the tie breaker if needed. Great video as always mate 👍

Great shooting as always. Wow that's expensive over there it's the cheapest of the top three in the UK at 220 per thousand. From what iv seen it shoots pretty on par with tenex and midus + but at distance it really shines be interesting to if you have the same results.

I think CZ may use the RWS ammo for its range test on the 22lr rifles they make. Dennis.

It seems that in the MTR at 50yds, SK Pistol Match offers the best price to get you into the 0.4 inch group size range. It will be interesting to see if its performance stands up at the longer distances.

I've tested 6 of those rounds in my CZ 455 varmint to targets at 50 and 100 yds and got about the same results. CCI SV was by far the worst by a long margin.

I noticed the wind seemed to pick up after the 2nd group . I really thought it would group better .

In my CZ 452, I get most consistent groups with Eley Match & R-50… I can’t tell which one is better. Also, surprisingly, I find R-50 sold at a cheaper price than ELEY Match (or any other ELEY ammo) … Greetings from Oman (we almost only shoot CZ’s here and everyone believes Match is the best..)

All my Norma Tac 22 has the same RWS head stamp. Does Norma make their brass or are they running a line in Germany under RWS and one in the US under Norma?

What I would really like to see is an ammo test with your Voodo at 200 yds with the following ammo on the same day. Lapua Long Range, SK Long Range, Norma Long Range, the New Eley Long Range and RWS R100. I think the RWS 100 will out perform them all.

Hi Josh, have you tested the stock MTR vs the LRP? I need to make a decision I tend to like the LRP for what you get but think the MTR might be more accurate. Keep up the great videos

I like the MTR looks. But it is not a match rifle, despite the name, trigger, chamber, barrel. The results are OK. But not on par with a match rifle to shoot consistently points on BR targets. I see your video. I see it at the ranges. BR shooters don’t invest any further time, ammo, money in their MTR and return to their Anschütz. ( at the clubs where I go). I see these groups being shot with 50 year young match rifles with diopter on 50 m. Club weapons. And medium quality ammo such as SK standard + or RWS rifle match. Not even Tenex. Strange video: you mentioned the shift of POI yourself. It is there suddenly in group 3. Working by temperature on alu mounts? Scope? Don’t know. To add something positive: could you lay your hand on a single shot adapter? ( 10$?) When we started to use those instead of magazines, all CZ452/455 shooters got tighter groups . Been tested at 2 clubs by several shooters.

My gun loves the RWS. But my wallet does not. You could see the groups drift with the wind I thought. But no different to your other ammo I suppose.
