As a violin player, I can't help but simply admire the cello. The way this man plays gives me chills. I can feel his emotions through his playing which is much more important than playing the correct notes. I am simply in love with this man's playing.

The hardest part of having a successful performance is making something really technically challenging look like it's the easiest thing to do in the world.
@earllrae91186 жыл бұрын
really technically challenging.. well said, one of the nicest pieces to learn
@ianhammerquist7485 жыл бұрын
I’m a cellist and this is is just a showy piece, pretty easy actually, all the thumb position is easy and any double stop is in thirds. Not saying it’s not hard, but for a cellist of his level pretty easy, just showy
@kimjensen76075 жыл бұрын
@@ianhammerquist748 I smell jealousy. Everything is easy when you can. Playing cello or football. So it's not just about being able to play, but also having the feeling for it. That's the difference from being good or be a star.
@ianhammerquist7485 жыл бұрын
Kim Jensen I agree, I responded to the person who said it was technically challenging, and in that regard, this piece is not that technically challenging especially for his ability level, TECHNICALLY challenging, of course mastering a piece comes more to musicality and performance/interpretation.
@ianhammerquist7485 жыл бұрын
He’s a pop performer, not much to be jealous about. Lol, much harder to perform Dvorak Cello concerto than Czardas or thunderstruck

This is what a call FEELING THE MUSIC. He is not playing this masterpice but rather feeling it. His face expressions and body movements are playing the song and telling a story. In the meantime some strings are being played on the cello. EXTRAORDINARY!!

Heh, to say something is warmer on the cello is like saying it's hot on the sun. Of course it's "warmer", that's not the point. It's beautiful on both instruments.

Luka plays the cello so easily, with such grace, as if it were not a cello, but a small 🎻 violin. I have never heard anyone else play like this: so much inspiration, so much passion, so much emotion and love for music. It's hard not to notice that he plays with pleasure...

@lucie84753 жыл бұрын
Luka doesn't "just" play the cello. The cello and him are one and the music simply flows through his veins and comes out through cello. Luka lives through the melody. It's incredible! It touches the soul in an amazing way. Mesmerising.
@stevenvella92127 жыл бұрын
I've been a piano and violin fan for ever, but when I saw Luca and Stjepan play the cello, I now listen to their music much more than other instrumentalists - they seem like they are playing the cello with the same "ease" as a violin (with no disrespect for either instrument's technical difficulties of course!) - Maybe it is the perception that many people have that the cello is usually part of an ensemble or orchestra rather than a solo instrument. The passion they both play with is another thing completely! I still kick myself for not having gone to their concert in Italy last year! SIGH!
@despinaanatolia24678 жыл бұрын
What an amazing performance! He is literally feeling the music/ csádár! It's played whit sooo many emotions, you can hear and feel it too! It's like they, him and the cello, are communicating with each other! I love to what Luka Sulic play this increddible instrument! ❤️

I love this Hungarian music! It is played superbly! To play it without music sheet, with fine delicate changes, in speed, mood is an achievement! it is possible to see this music run through your muscles, bones, your heart and your face! It is unbelievable that even by working hard and a lot of practice you can get to this level to play so well and faultless! Big cheers Luka! All of us who tried to learn playing any musical instrument understand how difficult it is! Fabulous!

Dear Anna, this seems Hungarian music but it's Italian made. Vittorio Monti, the composer, was born in Naples in 1968, where he also died in 1922. He was also a violinist and a conducer.

I feel like a lot of classical musicians would call this "over the top" or whatever, but I think this is just unbelievable. Every note has to much purpose and intent behind it. I felt so convicted throughout the whole performance... we NEED more musicians like Luka and Stjepan. Incredible.
