I've been playing D&D remotely since the pandemic. It has been great, because we were able to add a friend from Florida to our group, while we live in Michigan. He's coming to visit us next week, and I'm planning to run this adventure with them for our first in person game together ever! I've run a lot of your other adventures, and they always leave everyone excited and happy. I'm looking forward to this one, and I'll make sure to have the Night on Bald Mountain playing for them in the background!

Can't wait to incorporate this adventure into my campaign, it fits so well with what the party are doing. Although even if it didn't, I'd be cramming it in to fit the campaign coz the Arcane Library's adventures are always fantastic! Also, so weird but I was just researching Czernobog today for inspiration for an upcoming NPC in my game

Yes! Can’t wait to load Night on Bald Mountain into Syrinscape and mix it up with all the scream, church bell and devil sound sfx!!!

Read through the files and adventures and for the first time since buying your content I found a mistake. The combat cards for this adventure are the same cards for the previous adventure, Demon In The Mirror. Other than that it is a fun sounding adventure :-D

I think so, actually! Demon in the Mirror in particular was a “crossover” design I made while developing Shadowdark where it could be run as a classic dungeon crawl in 5E or Shadowdark. I think the style fits!

That's good t know :) I am a little rusty when it comes to old school rulesets and their lower overall stats and power levels (I haven't played good old BECMI DnD since the Eighties) and am somewhat scared of insta-TPKing my players with too powerful foes. I guess some trial and error - and spare charactes - will be necessary ;) But I believe heard you mention a rule of thumb in the AMA video about how to reduce 5e monster stats over a certain HD level and will probably try it like that. OH, and now that you mentioned the "crossover" desgin phase - I recently watched another walkthrough video of yours, where the church of St. Terragnis was mentioned, which rang a bell after having read the Shadowdark Quickstart rules :)
