Flip flop or latch is a digital electronics component. It remains in a state of 0 or 1 which are the two levels of digital signal. It is made up of combinational circuits and stores data. It is a storage component. It is one of the basic building blocks of a digital circuit. It is not a special component but a important component of a digital circuit.
