The city been making music like this or in similar genre, we got ab soul we got school boy q we got Buddy etc some of these artist has been in development just as long or longer than Kendrick a lot of the artist aren’t even recognized. And D Smoke brother is SIR the singer so that speaks for the talent part of their family

Similar artist and backgrounds. One from Inglewood. One from Compton. Kendrick just made it before Smoke. Smoke been that nice and comes from a talented family of musicians/educators. The Farris family is legendary.
