That was absolutely fantastic! The writing, the musicianship, the production, just brilliant. I'll be getting this and the previous two albums. Hopefully it won't be 17 years to the next album or I'll be playing it for my grandkids.

I really liked The Hinderers. It was my favourite album for a while when it came out.

I was 13 when The Hinderers dropped and remember loaning it from my local library only because of the cover art and to this day it's one of my favorite albums and bands in general

I remember the hype surrounding this lot when The Hinderers came out & being suckered into buying it without having heard any of it (indeed there is fair chance I actually read your review of it in one of the metal mags at the time). Honestly, at the time I was disappointed. It had a couple of songs I enjoyed at the time, but found the rest largely forgettable and borderline pretentious. Maybe it was my early 20s brain preferring simpler stuff at the time. Still got that cd, so might have to give it a spin again, because this is so much better than I remember them.
