Brilliant app for adding an accurate building into a watercolour sketch for painting. Many new watercolourists have problems with sketching, so this solves that problem. I'm recommending it to all my arty friends.

The anchor is taped right in the middle of the canvas, and still my "target image" does not appear. BEYOND FRUSTRATING.My phone is securely locked in the stand that I bought and anchored to a table.

Might be a silly question but do you measure the width of the paper anchor or the width of the 'squiggles''?

A rough estimate is totally fine. I typically measure the card the squiggles are on.
