I love that this father didn’t care that he was in the middle of a business meeting, he immediately forgot all about them and focused solely on the fact that his son was home.

For a split second his dad's eyes look like he was about to lay the smack down on whoever interrupted his meeting

The fact he called his son "baby" makes me emotional for some reason. Almost like if the dad still sees his lil boy.

Top marks to the two gentlemen in the back who had the meeting with him. Stood up, shook hands, thanked them and left a son to be with his father. Sometimes even corporate America knows the true value of these moments.

Much respect to the guys he was meeting with too... Respecting the fathers time, and most of all welcoming him home and thanking him for his service.

This is what happened to me when i came home from my 8 months deployment in Afghanistan. My dad hug me for 10 minutes crying thanking god i came back home alive.

From the dad’s receptionist keeping it together until the door opens, to his dads reaction, to the two men saying the meeting is over, truly special. I will always come back and watch this video. I started crying when I watched this. I had a friend who didn’t come back. And I wish I could give him a hug and shake his hand just one last time.

I grew up without a father and it is very hard for me to understand the bond, yet this father must be a great one and the young man a very lucky man.

There's nothing like seeing your folks for the first time after a deployment!!!! Personally, the reality that I was truly home didn't hit me til I saw my mom and dad.

That last sequence literally out of a movie. But you know what the movie can never capture. Raw emotion. From everyone, the moment the video started with the way he turns around ro the camera smiling. To the astoneshed secretary who unstantly knows who this man is and the impact hes about to make. And then of course the overwhelming emotion of the Father, what it must be like to finally feel the love of his son, in his own embrace again. That same absolute emotion immediately transfered to the members of the board meeting, who cant help but feel the most joy for their colleague and gratitude for his son. When I came home from Vietnam March 1969, my Dad cried and I only saw him cry one time before when his Dad, my Grandfather died in 1951. My mom cried and like this Dad in the video would not let go of me. All the years were of happiness.

My son hasn't been deployed but it's been 8 months since I've seen him because of Covid (he's in another country). I'm gonna hug him like crazy and probably cry when we finally get to meet.

I remember my first tour in the royal navy the first day was awful but i pulled threw 6months later on my first leave getting to see my girlfriend my mother and stepfather was the best day of my life!! Will be back on the ship for my 3rd tour next week! Still the hardest thing i have to do but its all worth it
