When watching the wonderful edit on this video, one can see that the writer's clearly portrayed Daemon as loving Rhae from the beginning simply from his expressions. Not just her but Viserys as well. The two of them are the only ones who mattered to Daemon. Your edits also reveal why Daemon's character is grey. It's because Rhaenyra redeems him whenever he does something horrible. Even when Daemon changes during the war, I would hope his redeeming qualities will still remain true to his character.

@@blackouteditsyt you suceeded in capturing their intense relationship. Daemon is one of my favorite characters but he's a dark grey. He has the potential of being a villain. The saying is the God's toss a coin every time a Targaryen is born. With Daemon it's like his coin landed on its side. Regardless of what happens to Rhaenrya and Daemon, in the end, I hope his actions reflect the redeeming quality Rhaenrya has brought out of him.
