im actually kinda proud to say that when i was in high school, i slept through a earthquake triangulation explanation and was the first and only person to get the assignment right on the first try. During popcorn readings, i would count ahead to see which paragraph i need to read, and remember the final lines of the paragraph before me, then wake up when i heard those magic words

been doing this for years, I do this half sleep thing where I close my eyes and I can still hear everything but I'm not awake so the class goes faster and I'm aware enough to engage when I need to so I seem like I'm paying attention, my classes would be over in like 15 minutes for me amd I still maintained good grades. didn't know this was so uncommon, thank you for teaching me that I am a God among men

I've fallen asleep in class once before, and the teacher woke me up by smacking the back of my head with the history textbook. Afterwards, there were kids who thought I fell asleep on purpose to spite the teacher, cause he was so ridiculously boring that other kids (including the tryhards) were trying not to pass out themselves. Lmao, never did it again, but just a note, if you ever teach a class, don't teach it as if you're trying to put people to sleep. This is why they'd come watch this video. Cause they sleeping...

There’s another sleeping position: you lean so far back in your chair that you are barely sitting in it anymore, then you lean your head forward. If your teacher calls you out then you can blame it on the angle they were looking at you from making it seem like your eyes were closed

I've mastered the art of sleeping so much I legit could just exit every class and the teacher wouldn't care (except for English class). My motto was basically: If you know what the teacher is teaching atm - sleep. It's actually disgusting how repetitive the classes are... Like most of the classes I was awake for only 5 mins.

Rewatching this (when i watched it i was in Hs and now i’m in college) and honestly just makes me appreciate the heroes without capes, who were complete strangers to you but would wake you up when the teacher was coming around or something was going on. Lifehack: Before u sleep in class turn on the recorder an your smartphone so u can listen to it at home. This way u won't miss out on the class. After class you can also make a photo of the whiteboard.

As a highschooler, I can attest that having a group of friends willing to let you sleep and wake you up is the beat strategy. Me and my best friend would sleep in turns. I would sleep first, then he would sleep in the next class, and so on. We would listen to the discussion and help each other whenever there's a quiz or some shrimp like that.

I learned the ability to sleep while my one eye open. Most usefull thing ever. You close one eye then lose focus with other eye and look into nothingless. But when you go into REM sleep your open eye will move randomly as the name suggests and it looks creepy.

I actually once pulled off an amazing stunt in my least favorite class (history) where when we were taking a test and we all had our folders up to hide our tests i kept falling asleep cuz sleeping at night is for the weak. I kinda just decided to give in and i fell asleep frfr but my brain could sense that my teacher was trying to sneak attack a look to see if i was awake and as soon as she was bouta peek i forced my eyes open... no one knows that i pulled off such a heroic maneuver and she doesn't know that i saw the embarrassment in her eyes after she thought she had caught me...

ngl I used to sleep in this one class in high school everyday and one time we had to write an essay during class and of course I fell asleep. BUT! One of my friends who was a senior and had free period during that time came in to hang out (teacher was chill) and she wrote the essay for me while I slept. She was the real MVP.

I slept through my GCSE's (similar to high school) and managed to get a double D, 7 C's 4 B's and an A (but no A*'s, sadly) across all of them. I also managed to get out of PE by doing an extra exam, ECDL (European Computing Driving License, basically an exam where I study MS Word, PPT and Excel and how to use them effectively). I also use to eat in class, and my teachers were 100% fine with it because my in-class work was above average.
