@@discodan6671 you can make it, everyone can, just go into your asian mart and grab PLAIN agar powder (don't get the flavored one), go back home duh, read the label on the agar powder to know how much liquid needed for the jelly, make some sweetened coffee, make it a bit sweeter because it'll taste better, drop the agar powder, cook it again until it bubbles and let it chill while still stirring if there're skims and bubbles to get rid of them, store it in tupperware after it cools a bit (usually it's 10 minutes). Refrigerate. Cut into any shape you want, or even better, use cheese grater, trust me. Make your other coffee iced and creamed, drop in the jelly, voila. Also, you can use your bad tasting coffee here, because it's sweet and bad coffee taste better when it's sweetened. Also, look up recipe because I don't really make them, I just know how to because I made other flavored jelly drinks and I just swap flavored agar with coffee and plain agar

Everything you said is really spot on. I have been living in Japan for a little over a year. I get excited when I find that one rare trash can out in public. The summer here is so hot. Stepping outside I'm already trenching in my sweat while the Japanese people aren't sweating much. Then one thing I struggle to this day is the language barrier, sometimes I don't go to any restaurants because I don't know the language much and then there's making conversations with the Japanese people out in the streets or at the club. I have to pull out the google translator and try to communicate. I do like how friendly the people are over here. So far Japan is nice but once you start living here you get that culture shock and see the real Japan more than what you see on youtube and hear about, especially when you live more towards the west of Japan.

8:30 I am currently in Japan and I had experienced a similar situation. In a restaurant, the cashier felt very sorry for me because she ripped off the ticket you get when you pay by credit card. Plus, she tried to tell me the situation in Japanese (which I understand to some extents for the moment) and I thought "Seriously ?! If it ripped off the text, I would understand your concerns but it is just a tiny scratch at the end of the ticket. I can still read the entire receipt....". So, thanks to anime, I could tell her in Japanese "Don't worry, it is okay !". She felt way too relieved for me x) I think their "customer-first" policy is taking too much toll on Japanese people sometimes... 😅

One of the most surreal things ive experienced when i was living in Japan One time i went to the grocery store I usually commuted to, with the bois, and while your shoppin you usally have these guys/gals constantly talking over an intercom telling the customers about deals. It was so monotonous that my dumb brain always just though oh its a recording they just play throughout the day. BUT ONE TIME, LEGITIMATELY THE MAN COUGHED, APOPOLOGIZED, AND KEPT GOING, AND I was like no way do they have a guy just repeating the same thing over and over. I asked my friend and they said yea they just have some dude doing it.

Hmm... it has nothing to do with "land of the rising sun"- if you know about time and time zones, you know that we arbitrarily assign time to certain times of the day, right? The reason why the sunrise is so early is because of Japan's time zone- it's abnormally behind compared to the natural sun position to time mapping that the world uses (aka solar time). In Tibet, the opposite occurs, sunrise happens very late because it is very far ahead of the solar time compared to its UTC +8 time zone. In fact, Japan should be around UTC +10 at it's current longtitude, not UTC +9, and Tibet should be around UTC +6, not UTC +8.

I did a study aboard program in Hachioji Japan, like a hour from Tokyo by trian and everything you said in the video Made me reminisce about my time there and how I had to learn about the trash system, picking my favorite cobini Which happened to be the 711 cause it was by my school and even using my train card(mine was Pasmo) I even use the card to pay for some of my school lunches. It was such a great experience And I really cherish the time I was there ( September 25th to December 14th, 2018) It was so freaking hot when we got there and didn't really start to get cold until the end of October. By then I was freezing if I stayed late at school and went home at night. I only experienced a little bit of rain. I hope they open the country backup again Because I always had the plan to go back and visit and do the things I never got to do.

@@jackgamesjack_yt_6267 That's not what I noticed when moving back to the US from Japan. Fashion, and just clothing in general seems to be a larger part of Japanese culture. I developed a new sense of style while I was living there, and then when I came back, it was VERY difficult to maintain it without spending way more money than I wanted to. Successful clothing stores sell their stock based on the fashion culture of their customers, and as my clothes from Japan have worn out over time, I've been forced to tone down the level of dress in my everyday wear.

Not sure but the escalator thing feels like it depends on where it is and how wide it is. Some places in NYC, you lived here if I remember correctly, have a similar etiquette of moving to either side to let those who want to climb up or down. There are also stairs for those willing to walk up or down manually instead.
@BlackTigr
