honestly I feel like the average random person looks more conventionally attractive than the average influencer. They are kinda under a lot of pressure to always be perfect and that pressure can manifest itself physically. I've seen some influencers do videos of them taking their makeup off and they usually look kinda miserable.
@pepethelastsamurai34803 жыл бұрын
Yea like stress acne and signs of premature aging seem to be common
@chelle73443 жыл бұрын
Depends on the definition of influencer. You’re not willing to compare a beauty guru, a model or an actress to a streamer, gamer or a blogger, are you?
@Cheeszze3 жыл бұрын
They are under pressure, not kinda it’s completely there. Especially females, they see all these models of female rappers talking about how big their butt is or how good they are in bed people eat that shit up. I tell my girl all the time don’t base your life around people who don’t have one, majority of these people are living in a fantasy world and it’s sad. “Body positivity” people don’t know what that is if it walked up and said hello. And I feel bad for a lot of people who don’t follow influencers, their judged by the stereotypes those same influencers make. It’s ridiculous
@xxcryssmarie2243 жыл бұрын
@@chelle7344 obviously they mean beauty or social media influencers
@chelle73443 жыл бұрын
@@xxcryssmarie224 Not necessarily. There are plenty of influencers who specialize in other genre’s and wear heavy makeup, or are also associated with the makeup community despite not being apart of it. That’s what I disagree with, Since these influencers are under this pressure, They Strive to look as unrealistically good as they possibly can. There are millions of products, accessories and surgery that can help public figures look good. Even if they get something’s done, Still doesn’t dismiss the fact that they’re attractive. This person is saying that the average person is more attractive due to the other party being pressured and having to deal with career-related stress. If both people wear the same amount of accessories, The public figure will still look better because they take care of themselves better since they are privileged enough to do so.

No more over excessive makeup, filters and edits one photos, and plastic surgery. Just workout, take care of your body, and be the best natural you. I agree 100%, but I think the main problem is the fact that a cycle happens which causes this mess. Women put on make up and edit to become 'pretty', men make comments and videos about taking girls swimming on the first date because of make up, woman take off make up and encourage others to be comfortable with themselves, men openly body shame them for it 'not taking care of themselves' , it's a cycle. It's might not go exactly like this but in a similar cycle where people just wanna be pretty/perfect, men and women so they lie (edit and shit), it's so normalized that it's actually weird see someone normal doing the exact same thing, like if you were scrolling through Instagram and you saw a bunch of Chanel and Gucci bags, you expect the person holding the bags to have a snatched waist, perfect skin, a mink coat and a BMW, you wouldn't expect to see Joanne from Nevada with the mini van and two cats.🤷🏾♀️

The crazy thing is I think I actually look better in person than in photos lol I've had people tell me I'm way prettier in person... I dunno I think it's also cuz videos and pictures can't show your vibe and the energy you give off. Cuz someone who you may see and they're SO WOW in pictures, you meet them and they just look dull and unimpressive. On the flip side you might see someone who isn't that interesting looking in pics but in person they just glow and you can't take your eyes off them.
