Don’t be embarrassed. We know it’s political. I have to say though, I’m devastated my Australian daughter & family are moving to Boston from Finland. IMHO it’s a backward step for my grandchildren who are leaving a country with the BEST education system in the WORLD and has been voted for the 4th year in a row as the happiest country in the world. I’m genuinely concerned. Hopefully they won’t like it 🤞 but I don’t think they’re ready to come home yet 😢

I will never understand how an award could be given to someone based on one claim about one comment that was likely taken out of context or misunderstood, and also with no evidence to back it up. I don't believe Robert F. Kennedy would agree that this award should be bestowed upon H&M, and doing so is detrimental to his legacy and all involved.

The Kennedy name does not carry the weight even in the United States it once did. Robert Kennedy Jr. has questioned the wisdom of the selection and rightly so. It is not covered nationally and most American’s never heard of this award. I have to question it being given to 2 people who have a problem with honesty and constantly err on the side of deceit.

@@suzanneball2442 The Ripple of Hope award has been given out since 1984, the organization is RFK Human Rights Advocacy for Social Justice. It was created to honor the work of Robert Kennedy who was assassinated in 1968. I believe awards have been given to recipients in 24 countries over the years it is given to an individual Individuals or organizations. It is seldom newsworthy unless the recipients are very high profile as in the case of Presidents Clinton and Obama. I cannot recall it ever being televised or receiving much press if any. Other than the two presidents I cannot identify another recipient. I was just providing the little info I know about it. Have a great week!

I find it strange how so many people make so much fuss about unproven theories, such as if Prince Andrew is an abuser for going to Epstein's parties, then is Margaret Thatcher for spending every new year with Jimmy Savile? Why doesn't anybody care about the obvious, such as how the Queen has children with 3 men? You only have to look at photos of Andrew next to Lord Porchester and Edward next to Baron Plunket to see. They aren't dragging the royals down with them yet but keeping those titles that show differnces in social inequality (according to our Constitution) while spouting about equality is pretty ironic. I just can't believe they were allowed to use them outside of the Commonwealth. It's also true that by taking the title she has revoked her title of US citizen. Why is our Constitution being ignored? Throw them both out.

Absurdly, it takes an Act of Parliament to remove titles gifted by the Monarch. There is the “Remove the Titles Bill” in Parliament now, second reading December 9. The Bill was launched by an MP in relation to stripping Prince Andrew of his title, but, if passed by Parliament, could be used to strip Prince Harry of his title as well. That doesn’t make it automatic, but, gives the King the power to remove titles - a power he doesn’t have now.

I am also bewildered by this award H&M are getting. It cheapens the award for President Zelensky. What have they done but throw out accusations with no proof. If you need therapy, go and work it out privately. It's so ugly to see this play out publicly. I also agree Edward deserves the Duke of Edinburgh title. There are not enough royals and the slimed down monarchy is too much on pressure on the Senior Royals. I think the King needs to be more gracious and generous.

I really hope that Prince Edward is given the Duke of Edinburgh's title, if only to respect the late Prince Philip's wish. He had to accept all sorts of things related to his name (i.e. the royal family is not the House of Mountbatten), so maybe this wish should be honored. I just think King Charles is waiting until after the coronation, perhaps for Prince Edward's 60th birthday. And I agree that Princess Beatrice and her husband could be a nice asset to the royal family. They're proper, discrete, and young, three very excellent qualities to have at this time for the royals.

She didn't seem to realise that the royals first and foremost are diplomats, which considering she swindled her way into an embassy with the intention to stay (before failing her exams), seems a little daft on her part. They are neutral and rise above the government squabbling which goes on. She was given a position of trust, which is actually a real honour. In return she was given a life and money which few of us can imagine. Unfortunately, madam thought it was all about her, and completely missed the whole service to the Crown, nation and commonwealth. These people raise millions for charities year after year. Promoting causes, sponsoring causes and setting up trusts and foundations. Each engagement is as vital as the next, be it opening a hospital wing, or greeting foreign dignitaries. She proved herself to be a public relations nightmare, and diplomatic incidents had to be ironed over almost immediately. I expect everyone within the Royal Family and establishment breathed a sign of relief when they stepped down. They remain family, unfortunately yes, but they are blacklisted from the family business. And even H, who enjoyed his white privilege life (whatever he has been told to think otherwise). He has shamefully turned his back on it all, because it doesn't suit their false narrative. Where is H gone? He has been dissolving from day one. He was reshaped, but now he seems to be getting erased!

I am an American, and frankly can't stand that these two are in the USA and trying to present themselves as "royalty". We don't have royalty in the US, and since they are not representing the Royal family, they aren't anything here. It’s structural racism within the royal family, that means it’s not one person but that racism is widespread throughout the entire monarchy, royals, staff, everyone. Charles should absolutely give Edward and Sophie the title that was promised. It doesn't matter what reason he gives he will lose a lot of the public goodwill if he does not follow through on this promise. He should also do something with Andrew. If you look at how much the foundation is selling seats at their table for ($1million!) then it simply looks like what it is.....a way for the foundation to make money. You guys are absolutely minimizing Andrew’s terrible judgement. Sure Edward and Anne love their brother…but the monarchy CANNOT afford bringing Andrew back into the fold. I’ve said this b4, that yes,PA did bring disgrace upon his family by his stupid, irresponsibly bad choice of “ friends.” But remember he was considered guilty of immoral behaviour by the Press, not by the court. And he has NEVER trashed the RF at all, even when his privileges were taken away from him. Btw, why did that young woman ( who WAS the age of consent) only try to sue PA? What about all the other men who she charged for “ favours?” Some experts who have closely examined the photos have come to realise they were photo-shopped, which is easy to do with todays tech devices.
