That was very difficult Max, in terms of the communication I would not stand a chance! I would be broke within a minute :) This is why you and Chris really compliment each other. I have to say i'm a lot wiser now when it comes to converting Pakistani rupee to the UK Pounds. The hospitality in Pakistan is nothing like I've witness before.

Max it seems that most of the stores you passed by sold gold and in Islam it is prohibited for men to wear gold so that’s probably why they didn’t invite you and most likely they didn’t have silver chains. Sterling Silver chains are allowed though.

Really like how both of you are interacting with the locals and enjoying your time. For general knowledge, there is a little difference between Pashtoon and Pathan. Any person who speaks Pushto and living in the said culture is Pushtoon and a Person who's blood is related to a lineage of Pathans is called Pathan. A Pathan can be a Pashtoon but not all Pashtoons are Pathans.
