Today I had a malfunction of my beloved D-Air vest. It’s great to know it works, but it just sucks it worked at the wrong time.
Anybody out there with the same issues?

I had the vest version but I didn’t like it. It was only good in winter. I also purchased the long sleeve and that one is great. You can wear it as is with no other jacket or you can layer under it and over it. I use a mid layer under it and over it a stretchy rain layer, the Scott DP or something like that. Works really well.

Hi, I know you have said in previous videos you have researched Airbag vests but having ridden in the Dainese, the Alpinestars and the Helite vests, the Helite allows the best airflow through your jacket vents, doesn't have a subscription and the cartridges are $60 if you activate it. You don't need to send the jacket off you just unscrew the canister and screw a new one on. I know you want access to the big pockets on your jacket but its just one quick-release buckle and you can reach your pockets. The Dainese is like wearing a neoprene wetsuit vest under your jacket. I've worn it in the UK and it was hot you must cook over there. Hope this helps Jay

Man you hit it right on. The D-Air is JUST like wearing a wetsuit tight on your skin.. In summer it kills! Yes I definately get cooked in the heat of summer. Last year I was riding through some of the fires up north and man.. I was about to pass out. I would be all about more airflow and a cheaper reactivation. @@AmericanAbroad1 you are most welcome, I think your channel is great, it’s a pity the misses and me are not planning to do Spain and Portugal till next year ( this year is Germany and later Southern France) or we could of met you and let you tried mine for a couple of days. The Helite Turtle also has a device that fits on your forks so if you get hit when stationary it sends a message to your vest to deploy. Anyhow ride safe and keep up the good work. Oh wow that fork attachment seems like a great feature! These vests have come a long way in a short time. When I started with the D-Air there were not as many options. Yeah if you ever get over to Portugal or Spain, let me know. Would be great to meet up. Thank you again... Ride safe!

So it happens to other brands, happened tp my Alpinestars vest as well. I was taking it off when I was back home and it decided to trigger when it was off one hand.
