Airguns of Alaska

I’ve been really impressed with this cheap Daisy break barrel pellet gun. I think for the money it’s the best value out there. If you are looking to get into the sport or want to buy your teenager an airgun or want a springer, this is a gun you should consider. It’s night and day better than any B3 Chinese airgun available on today’s market.

Try the Air Venturi tune in a tube. This has been the most receptive gun I’ve used it in. Both the cocking stroke and the shot cycle really benefit from the lube provided, you won’t regret it. Great gun for the money 🤌🏽 You can also adjust the trigger spring if you’re relatively mechanically inclined which will tighten up your groups significantly.

Have 1, Love it I did not at first!!!! Hated the EX-TREME HAND JOILTING TWANG... year 1/2 later couple 3-4 tins of pellets thru it, it settled down and taught me how to enjoy shooting a real SPRINGER... The fun factor went up when I mounted a UTG 4X32 fixed power scope on it ... handles the recoil well... Groups tightened up when I went to 10 GR or higher pellets... going to try some JSB 10.3 grain KnockOuts this weekend... I painted my stock... Can't stand black stocks... FYI Gamo owns Daisy for a few tears now... At first, they build these in Spain... The just bought out BSA if my sources are right... Anyway, have fun with that one... Mine was $69.99 at Walmart at the time, and the scope ran around $89.00 Best spent fun factor, for so little price... wish I could say that about some of my more expensive PCP... Big C out... 😎

Yeah I like these for an inexpensive, powerful Springer. Bought one for $34 and a few days later another for $28. Still have one in the box. The other I cut, re-crowned barrel to 10”. Added a moderator adapter and front sight. Air Venturi Tune-in-a-Tube does wonders. I don’t remember exactly which screw but you replace one of the trigger screws that interacts with sear with a slightly longer screw (very easy to do) cuts the trigger pull weight in half.

@@precisionrodentcontrol so it sounds like it doesn’t use a direct sear trigger? Lots of guys scored buying these guns when they were marked way down. When I watched Oh Shoot’s video on it and he demonstrated the cocking sequence I cringed at the noise his gun made. Then here I am months later and bought one myself. Kinda funny.

Do you know if that rifle has a direct trigger sear? It may be why it's difficult to pull. For some reason when ever I see a stamped trigger, I think direct sear. I don't know if that is always true or not. Lol I also refuse to buy a Crosman break barrel. I use to want the Remington digi-camo NPSS but that never happened. My memory is fuzzy but I believe it was made in the US. Most of the other Crosmans were Chinese clones offered in different stock and spring options. Not to mock Chinese stuff. They can make nice stuff with good QC. I own two Chinese older Stoeger "X" series rifles. They are actually the same cloned action as the same era Crosman break barrels but made with better QC. I think that's it though. I'm not planning on buying anymore Chinese break barrels, well break barrels in general. I DO want a Gamo Bone collector swarm and maybe an underlever but that's it for spring rifles for now. I'm just too busy with my pump guns. I just built me a plastic pump bb gun today with old spare parts. 😂
@airgunsofalaska
@airgunsofalaska Күн бұрын
My suspicion is it’s a direct sear gun but I’ve not been able to find an answer. The parts diagram I found online doesn’t show that much detail. After searching around today it’s my impression this is a throwaway gun as multiple forum posts mentioned parts not being available. So far my experience with Chinese made Airgun’s for Daisy has been pretty good, Crosman not so much. I still don’t like American brands out sourcing to China and I won’t make a habit of buying guns from there unless they offer really good performance for the price. I’d be interesting to see what type of pump action gun you made. 👍
