Other reasons for the Paradigm design appearing in The LEGO Batman Movie could be: ● Animated movies take a long time to produce, so that was the current design when they started, and they didn't want to change their work when the show went back to bronze. ● The creative team lacked Whovians, so they weren't aware the show had gone back to bronze. After all, they had Joker refer to them as robots _("British robots! Ask your nerd friends!"),_ so there was clearly a lack of Doctor Who knowledge.

I would have preferred they stuck to paradigm daleks they were colourful sure but why was that a bad thing colour coding based on function is not an unusual concept perhaps if they were more metallic than plastic it would help. I do think had paradigm daleks got a descent 2 part story showing how dangerous they could be people may change their view on them bug they called quits on them and played safe with bronze daleks and that's one of the biggest losses in potential from revived era
