Do note, Daley, that the Soviet Union was not just Russia. Ukrainian, Kazakh, and Belarussian forces made up a very significant portion of the Red Army by 1945, as Russians were usually the ones trusted with more upfront roles. But as casualties piled up, Ukrainian, Kazakh, and Belarussian conscripts began to replace Russians, and by 1945 I believe over 50% of the Red Army was non-Russian.

Ah yes the Battle of Blood Mountain 1944. I remember it like it was yesterday.... In a world that was divided amongst a war between the Axis and the Allies, a new threat emerged to claim an end to all that lived- the Undead hoards of Hell. No one knew where they came from... and as locus they spread across Europe to claim the souls of all that survived the onslaught of the war thus far. It was clear what needed to be done. A united front must meet the hoard and put an end to the new threat that wished to consume humanity. The Axis and Allies all agreed to at least a temporary truce and put together a ragtage team of soldiers, armor, and artillery they could amass as quickly as possible. Then put them on a natural mountain fortress. The dead were lured, and the fight began, and lasted for days maybe even weeks- By the end, the mountain was drenched in the blood of the living and dead as it poured down the cliffs. Staining the rocks, soil, and grass with blackened and crimson blood. To this day- that patch of the Earth remains a bronze color. No matter how hard it rains or snows. German WWII Infantry squad had 6 Riflemen with Kar98's, 2 guys with MP40's and a guy with MG 34 or MG 42. The German units are lacking quite a bit of firepower 🤔

The game is ridiculous on purpose. Realistically, the tanks would not be destroyed, but would be buried beneath a mountain of corpses and unable to move or aim, not to mention that they would quickly run out of ammo. Then, they could still crush zombies with their tracks, but only until all the zombie bits clogged up the tracks and left the tank immobilized.
