I love this pick. He has a lot of potential. We also got a much needed 3rd round pick too. Looking forward to day 2 of the draft. Still need a RB, DT, possibly Center, LB and WR too

Yeah, if it's not the BIG name that's been hyped up, they HATE the pick, they HATED Tyler Smith too. Look how that turned out. The Jones are HORRID, but the one thing they do right is drafting and developing offensive Linemen, especially 1st rd. Don't worry, this is a great pick!

I actually prefer Graham Barton. I just think he's a better prospect and would solidify our interior line. But Guyton is a good pick. LT was our #1 need. I like Guyton's size and athleticism.

I liked Barton too he’s nasty.. But the trade back worked out beautifully.. We traded back got Tyler Guyton & a 3rd pick which turned into Beebe.. addressed 2 needs with 2 possible day 1 starters over 1..

I have my thoughts on this pick but when I sat down and think about it, it totally makes sense. This help keep Tyler at G. If you look at the front four of the Giants, Commanders and Eagles what are their strengths on the defensive side of the ball? It’s the interior defensive lineman.

If Oklahoma had a right-handed QB then Guyton would have played LT for them, but since the QB was left handed they played Guyton to his natural blind side to help protect him. Him going back to LT shouldn't be considered a big deal here, he started out as a TE so he should be able to move easily enough.

Let's be honest Every player has a "high ceiling" Some players that were suppose to be great sucked and players that were suppose to suck ended up being great. If he is coachable and willing to spend the time and effort, he might turn out to be a awesome player There is a gamble with EVERY player drafted

Sure, everything is always relative, all of the time. That doesn't change the necessity and foundational function of due diligence within any organization as to how it best allocates limited resources. Your point is valid, just not anywhere close to sufficient.

I trust this staff to clean up his technique. Dude is a massive silverback Gorilla. A nasty Mauler. I been seeing YT content creators hate on this pick and frankly, they are flat wrong. They did this when we drafted Tyler Smith too. I love the draft picks we got too. It was a heist! Lions way overpaid for the pick. That trade alone sets us up for success Friday and Saturday. We could even use one of the 3rd round picks we have to get an extra pick. Lets give Jerry, Steve and McClay some ccredit here.

I think they're going to be WAY wrong, similar to how people didnt like the Tyler Smith pick. Trust me when I say this, I couldnt be more confident in a guy going to translate well into the NFL then I am with Guyton

Guyton is too tall to be an effective tackle he is not gonna have good leverage when going against smaller defensive ends ideally tackles should be around 6 “5

Because a lot people wanted a center specifically Barton so they pissed that Barton fell and Dallas traded back. I wanted Kingsley but I'm not mad we got a Tackle which keeps Smith at LG got another 3rd round and there are still a lot of good centers in the board

Plus they get pick 73 to go with T.Guyton. They “should” get a very valuable player with pick 73. It’s not hard to imagine that they just got their future starting LT plus another probable starter when pick 73 is selected.

“High ceiling” means they drafted another project in the first round. He’ll start day 1 not because he is starter quality by that point but just because they’ll have nobody else. Another Tyler Smith. Guy who may very well end up being good like Tyler Smith is now, but somebody you could probably get in the 2nd. The Cowboys aren’t nearly as good at drafting as people say they are.

Check who's put the most drafted players in the Pro bowl. Zeke & Dak was MVP candidates in rookie season. Micah ,C.D. Zach etc. Just giving you the truth. I'm a Patriots fan,Jerry is uncanny to be a owner.

There is a video on youtube called "Which NFL Team is the WORST at Drafting Players? (since 2012)". The video explains the metrics used for ranking, and it ranks the Cowboys as #4 in drafting quality since 2012. They really are that good.

You never brought up his sorry blocking techniques and lack of aggression in run game. Yes he moved well for his size, but you’re wrong to me about AZ Morgan he’s a big athletic baller. I like the pick and he has great potential but you’re too high too early lol He may not translate as fast as Tyler smith did
