I love Flitz polish and wheels, thanks to you. Has worked very well on most chrome and even to polish my fiberglass tub enclosure which was driving me crazy. I'm having a problem with a VW New Beetle Convertible :( Thought it was chrome all around the top of the body. Apparently, it is not because nothing seems to be working. Any advice? Thanks.

Wow !if only we had products like the flitz ball and the good polish in the 70’S when our cars had chrome bumpers and we all ran mag wheels on our cars.we could have spent less time working on that stuff and had better results.todays products are amazing

Is there any hope for the chrome on a 22 year old bumper? Has "specks" on it when looking close up but no pitting. Still has a mirror finish under where the license plate is mounted.

Does anyone know if the 'chrome' trim on a Merc B Class is polishable? If plastic then surely not. Looks like water marks but when I use my fingers it doesn't come off which makes me think the metal (if it is that) is discoloured. Thanks.

there is a water softener that is used in dishwashers, Cascade makes, try a drop on your towel, rub it in.

Given that it's clear coat you're dealing with, would something like HD Speed (which you used on the door pillars in another video) work just well? I guess the Flitz polish and ball are a designed to work together, so easiest just to stick with their system? Just reading about the polish, I see that it's actually non abrasive, which is interesting. I guess the buffing ball must do the actual "abrading".

I have used the wheel brightener to remove water spots on windows and I haven't had any problems with it

I have real metal trim around the windows on my Jeep, but don’t know how or if I can polish scratches out. Not sure if it’s true chrome, polished aluminum, stainless steel etc.

The chrome on the front of the car is probably plastic underneath, where as round the windows would be metal underneath

I would never lay my polishing tools on the floor like that, you are picking up dirty and WILL damage surfaces. KEEP IT OFF THE GROUND.

It's hardly worth the trouble when it will last only a very few minutes with all the mosquitoes and other bugs we drive through. Looks great before driving it. One drive and it's already ruined. Big ego starting out, deflated ego upon exiting the vehicle.

If you are polishing clear coat and not metal, why are you using flitz and not a paint polish?
