They are guard dogs bcs of firefighters hahahahaah they were war dogs for decades in Dalmatia. We used them in every war. Especially wars against Ottomans.

2:21 lies 😂 we got ours when my son was 3 he’s now 10. Very easy to train. 3:44 another lie my dog doesn’t bark unless someone’s at the door. It’s the owner not the dog tho 🤷‍♀️

I can back this. Mine was 100% totally deaf and we were still able to train her without much trouble. Of course we got her when she was only a couple months old so that also helped. Even getting her to look at us for commands wasn't much of a problem, all you had to do was stomp your foot and that got her attention. She was still a maniac right up to the week she died at 14, but she was a well trained maniac.

I have to disagree with full grown. Their puppy stage is 12/16 months and their bones don’t stop growing until 24 months hence why it’s not recommended to have them to hard activities in that stretch and their capacity to fully grow is 18/24 months.

My family has raised and showed Dalmatians since the 1970s. Dalmatians are hard to train, I have to disagree. If they AND the owners take classes together, no problem as the Dalmatian just wants to please. We have had only one that was dangerous and untrainable. My last boy, through no fault of his own, was unable to have his training stick. And as he would attack my mini Dachshund, we had no choice on what to do. It would have been a matter of time before he attacked a person. I sang him his favorite song as he went to sleep. I took a couple of days prior to the last vet visit and told him how this was going to work. He did something that I never expected. When I put him on the vet's table, he laid down. He was a good boy with, I believe, some mental issues that I couldn't fix. Even the vet said I did the right thing. I am still haunted by it. I miss my boy who would have been 13 now. Mom, who died in 2017, is up there and will play with him until it is my time to join them. But training the others was easy. You just had to watch out for the males. Male Dalmatians like to be the class clown. All of the males that we had were goofy, but loving. I also dispute the idea that they are not fit for appartments. My last female was a couch potato who loved to cuddle. She would have been ideal for an apartment. As long as they get exercise, they can be good apartment dogs.

@@khaitlinknoll8446 No, my Mom bred and showed Dalmatians in the 1970s. As a kid, I helped. I've obedience trained others that we owned in later years. It's not home without one, at least in my opinion.
