"He's always been good to take on a challenge.
"Highest profile person to come back and get involved in Irish football since Johnny Giles.
"Hope it goes well for him. It won't be for lack of graft."

I really wish LOI had a better marketing team, and more investment. There's so much potential with it but Irish people rather spend their time watching English clubs then go complaining that England invaded us 800+ years ago. We really have a fairly stupid football fanbase - not all of them, but the vast majority are total saps honestly.

Isn’t that the truth. Had a mate who always slagging me because I’m a bohs fan And one night out drinking he started a fight with some lad in a rangers jersey calling him A Brit funny thing was he had a Man U jersey on.

The LOI needs local councils to build small 4-5000 municipal stadiums. Attract people to matches by having nice bars/facilities at the grounds for a night out.
