doesnt matter mate, his style of play doesnt suit united. He doenst have starting 11. He doesnt have starting formation. The match performances are the worst since 3 decades ago. The whole team is disjointed. There is no leadership, from players or manager. He needs to go, and United needs new manager who will unite the locker room and be a leader. Jose had his chance and screwed up. He still might win something in different club, it just wont be united

The players these days are like kids messing about in school not taking things seriously. Mourinho is the teacher trying to get them good grades but to no avail because they just don’t care. The Pogba video, with Luke Shaw I think it was, suggests this. Mourinho has continually criticised his players attitude. He’s always done it. Guardiola does it, Fergie did it. But because he’s not winning things he has become the scapegoat and the players get away with it

The old fart makes it sounds like the players deserve any kind of respect for their shite performances. Nowadays, a player does not perform, the manager criticises him then loses the dressing room. The manager tries to rectify bad team performances with tough actions, he loses the fans. When he speaks the truth, he loses the media. He tries to create a winning team from a bad one, everyone wants him out. WTF??
@TheLastAngryMan01
@TheLastAngryMan01 5 жыл бұрын
davidogan You can criticize your players, but not outside the confines of the dressing room. Airing your grievances publicly as a manager is the quickest way to endanger team spirit. That’s not me talking, it’s Alex Ferguson and Jock Stein, two of Britain’s greatest ever managers. And the “”old fart” as you call him is one of Arsenal’s greatest ever players and developed a lot of their young players over the years, so have some respect.
@Dreyno
@Dreyno 5 жыл бұрын
davidogan The “old fart” is an Arsenal great and to this day doesn’t have to pay for dinner in Turin from his time at Juve. You might disagree with him but I guarantee he knows more than every commenter on this video put together.
@Dreyno
@Dreyno 5 жыл бұрын
davidogan Just to clarify, Brady deserves respect. But I actually agree with you. Managers take the blame for players being shit or lazy. Mourinho lost his job at Chelsea because Costa decided he wouldn’t play for him any more. Spoilt little pricks. But the fans can’t blame their players so the coach gets it in the neck.
@arno222444
@arno222444 5 жыл бұрын
Fact: Mourinho keeps losing the dressing room again and again, others to class managers don't lose their dressing or at least not that often. You can keep blaming the players but if they don't trust their manager, if the manager act like a kid, if the manager doesn't take any criticizing or responsibility when the things go wrong then it won't work (it's exactly the same in a normal working environment, if a manager acts like that he will lose the support and the faith of his employees)

Duff hits it on the button with what he says, also there was something that I picked up with what Mourinho said in the post match interview, he was talking about the question for whether players play for a manager or not. He said it shouldn't ever be about playing for a manager or not, if they play for a certain manager and not for a different one then they aren't good professionals. Also the guy talking about "Mourinho's Transfers not working out" is looking at this as if he's oblivious to the fact that Mourinho doesn't have power/control over the players coming in. All he can do is recommend players at the end of the day Ed Woodward has been he transfer guy another reason why Mourinho was so frustrated in the summer with the transfers because they are simply not the players he wants. Look at the big names Pogba wasn't his but thats a no brainer everyone was after Pogba that summer, Fred was to spite City, Sanchez was to spite city, Matic was clearly his recommendation cause he had him at Chelsea, Lukaku might have been his cause he had him back when he was at Chelsea. idk about Bailly or Lindelof since they were pretty unknown to the average english and Irish fan prior to them arriving.

I don't think that players have changed much. There are still some characters that respond well to criticism (Luke Shaw is doing well), and others who crumble or respond negatively. Conte was tough with Pogba and still got the best out of him.

It has been both sides. The players have not been playing well. If Sir Alex were still the manager, he would've been too tired of hairdryering this group of players!!! On the other hand though, Sir Alex would have never mentioned how bad his players are in an open press conference. Must be tough to be MU fans at the moment.

arno222444 mourinho is very experienced and he know how to win. players just need to hv faith in him. maybe they did not win beautifully but they will win under mourinho. The problem now is: Mourinho need a leader to help him in the dressing room. a leader that hv big influence in the club. thats what man u is missing now. pogba cant be mourinho captain. he cant defend mourinho. all he do is complaining when they lose the game. thats the role terry lampard & drogba did at chelsea. whereas no current man u player can be mourinho captain

Radio K were are you from First and what timeline are you from. That Bald not Bold old Man was Liam Brady was a talented offensive midfielder renowned for his left foot and elegant technical skills such as his high-quality passing, vision, and close control, which made him an excellent playmaker. He combined these abilities with significant tenacity, an eye for goal from midfield, and accurate penalty-taking. In addition to his footballing ability, Brady also stood out throughout his career for his professionalism. He found success both in England with Arsenal, where he won an FA Cup in 1979, and in Italy with Juventus, winning two Serie A titles. Brady was altogether capped 72 times for the Irish national football team. Brady went on to manage two clubs - Celtic and then Brighton and Hove Albion - together with being the assistant manager of Ireland's national football team. He also held the post of Head of Youth Development at Arsenal from 1996 to 2013 and has been a frequent television pundit with RTÉ Sport.
