Journey is doing so well. I am glad she gets some time out of the nursery because it is another whole world for her. It’s a beautiful day in Texas so enjoy it. May Gods blessings continue to be abundant at the Sanctuary. Hugs from China Spring Texas

The wheelchair is for mobility. If she is more comfortable without it, then it shouldn't be forced on her. Just keep an eye on the two front legs. The added weight could lead to stress fractures, or arthritis.

Lester you are doing exactly what Journey needs she is a tough little cookie. As the wife a disabled hubby I know they are much more comfortable doing things their way. It looks much easier on her doing it by herself.

My granddaughter is here this morning and I never heard such giggling as when you put music to Journey breakdancing 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 wow just wow how amazing she is doing! Journey is just what her name is on a journey and she’s gonna show y’all what a good one it will be! No wheelchair needed! As we say in the South Let her “cut a rug” on that dance “barn” floor! Go Journey Go,🙌🙌🙌❤️❤️❤️

Journey looked so good getting around every way she can. Those handstands will get better and she will be strong in her legs and torso which will enable her to get herself out of troubles like being mixed up with the cords. Little Journey! I honestly can't say that I've ever seen a goat or ANY 4 legged animal, walking around on just their 2 front legs, except in a circus!! This little girl's got balance and talent! I've never seen anything like it!

Awww, my sweet girl! I’m never sad when I see her in past videos and I can only be grateful we had Journey, if only for a short time. She was inspiring. Journey will be remembered with love always and all ways. Don’t cry when you see her in past videos, enjoy it and feel gratitude.

Poor baby, my heart breaks for her, she is such a little fighter and there’s definitely lots of improvement in her mobility. Animals are so amazing the way they adapt to life’s challenges. Bless you Journey ❤️

You know my daughter who has had handicaps her whole life! She never complained never once said why me! And when she was smaller it was very hard to tell when something was wrong! I've learned alot from her (she's my hero) and that is well maybe because she was born with these problems so maybe it's normal to her! So saying i can't do it! Or complaining how hard isn't really a thought as she has adapted to make it work for her! Her way! Not like other's expect or how they think it should be done!

Journey sure has made a huge improvement. Lester, I have to agree with you. Journey has been without that chair and not used to it let alone, she is building up her leg muscles. God Bless Lil Journey. 🙌

I LOVE HOW MUCH STRONGER Journey has gotten and how he tries to compensate for his disability. This “baby”, with the tender help of Lester and his “team”, meaning his wonderful family, could go against all odds and lead a long happy life under their care. I know I am way not the only one praying for this to happen. Prayers go out to Journey and his WHOLE FAMILY.🙏🙏🙏

The bandage seems to give her longer leg more stability and she is doing much better. The hand stand was precious.

I agree Lester. The more she can move around on her own the better for her legs and balance. I am a physical therapist assistant for 40 yrs. and letting her strengthen her legs and trunk is good

The inconsistencies of using the wheel chair then not will only hinder her ability to function the way she needs anyway. Also it is useless in most areas so need stress/ confuse her. I agree, 100% let her learn, strengthen her legs to be able to use them and do what she can!!!

Journey is tuff 💪💪. Having her in with other babies who played with her may have helped her learn to motivate and adapt. That front legstand was impressive! She loved the freedom of being with you, Lester. 💖 so let her run like a Forrest Gump of Goats. Run Freedom, run!

She is so adorable. And raring to go. Animals are so resilient and resourceful. They’ll find the best way to cope. My old Labrador never took to his wheelchair when his hips started to go but I think he’d pretty much had enough by then. It would have been cruel to persevere. I know goats don’t do well with anaesthetic because it looks like if the extra bone could go, her balance would be better. But she’ll cope especially if she doesn’t grow much more.💕💕💕

Oh Lester, I love your break dancing videos. You've got great moves! 😆 The hands on attention with Newton will help tame him down. Keep it up guys! Journey is getting around so good. She likes to be right there with you. If her legs and booboo's are wrapped for protection and support she can walk and get even stronger 💪 Love the name plates, great idea to whoever sent them, very nice. Since there is room on both sides of the barn where the animals to come in, maybe a stall can be made for Ivy and Ima. Just a thought. Thank for sharing with us. Sweet Journey sure can brighten your day!❤🙏

That’s what I thought. The kids doesn’t even acknowledge Lester break dancing, or whatever Lester’s doing. I actually believe Lester is in his own little world... 😂😂😂

Lester you are the best. Your students have accepted you with not only respect but as one of them. You help them forget their troubles. They try to not acknowledge when you get “silly” but on the inside they are wishing they had the nerve to be like you but are afraid of criticism. Keep going, Lester, your warmth and sense of humor will go a long way in there Childrens lives. Just one more reason why you are so loved and respected. Everyone has is put on this beautiful earth for a reason and you my strong, sensitive man, has found yours. It might have take you on some “Journeys” you want to forget about but Lester, “WELCOME HOME! Oh one more thing, get some “friends/helpers in and take the Sanctuary and take your girlfriend on an incredible, but safe and of course romantic vacation, even if it is for a long weekend. Smother her in strawberries coated with chocolate, etc. You both deserve it!

I have a classmate & friend that was born without arms below her elbows. She rode bikes, wrote with a pen between her elbows, swam at the pool, did about everything everyone else did. She is one of the most inspirational people in my life I've seen. We are retired now, but guess what she did in life. She became a secretary!

Isn’t nature amazing?! She adapted to the situation and with determination is getting around her own way. I’m happy to see her getting out of the stall and going on rides and helping daddy. She is doing so well on her own ,it's sad but funny ,the wheels don't seem to work well,when dogs have them they have USUALLY been previously able bodied so they knew how to run ect,it's probably not the same for her

Any young goat will get themselves tangled up and can trip. The amazing thing is she was able to get herself free from the cable. this is also confirmation of Journeys incredibly strong spirit and her sense of adventure.. I am forever amazed also at peoples' generosity and creativity. As a side I can't wait to see what adventures Newton had with LE and Elijah.
