Sorry, but Mel Gibson and Danny Glover set the gold standard for the buddy-cop genre. The classic scene in LETHAL WEAPON 2 with Murtaugh on the toilet and Riggs getting ready to pull him off shows how such a duo can grow and develop and bond.

That was an intended head-shot and there were a few people in proximity of the senator, yet no one else was injured. Lol. Your exactly right about the bodyguards though. They would've grab his ass and ran his ass out of that box, stadium and to his motorcade. I'm not sure if the protocol is the same as the Presidents.

The bullets (Milo fires full auto minimum three shots) go into where the Senators head was but no longer is because the ball hits him square in face SMACK! knocking him completely down. The ball after hitting his face bounces up and gets hit by one of the bullets (the key is knowing bullets need a few parts of a second to get there). Milo theoretically could have still killed the Senator as he gets up not knowing he was fired at (the bodyguards all seem to react to him being hit by the ball) but because Milo is a psycho he starts unloading full auto first at Jimmy Dix on the horse (audience and players become aware of firing), Then at Joe Hallenbeck and finally at the Police Helicopter... He then FINALLY runs out of ammo. In true Hollywood fashion Milo unloaded at least 50 shots from a 20-round magazine in this sequence before running out of ammo :D
