You'd think so, but if it was a theory, then it would not be very satisfying to find out that you were "right" only because the writer changed it to what you guessed. But most fan theories aren't actual theories, they're ideas about what the best plot would be going forward.

Rick and Morty is probably the most brilliant cartoon to date. It sits perfectly between funny and tragic, its storyline are well written, all the characters are loveable even the less common ones aren't hated. Every plot ends perfectly and doesn't have unanswered questions. I could compliment this show for hours!

That season 3 April's fools was a trip man. I remember I was a freshman I'm college, and me and the boys had seen tweets that season 3 dropped but we chalked it up to April fool's. We loaded up the adult swim stream and it was just static, we left it up for about 30 minutes then out of nowhere the season 3 premiere drops. Low key a day to remember and I'm not even the biggest rnm fan, they nailed it.

Dan Harmon is so great. I used to love Community, then there was a season that really sucked and I stopped watching. Found out later that that was the season he stopped working on the show. He's critical for the quality of a lot of the projects he works on.

I was loving community and because here in uruguay all of that wasnt newsi didnt knew about all the drama and dan being fired, but totally noticed the lack on that season, then started to watch channel 101 and realized i was a fan of dan with out even knowing abouth him

If you never went back to it, watch Community Season 5. He came back to the series for it (and the subsequent season 6). Also, one of the reasons we got Rick and Morty is because Dan Harmon was fired for season 4, during which Rick and Morty Season 1 was developed.

Agree with other poster...go back and watch the final 2 seasons. Not quite as strong as S2 or some of S3, but waaaay better than 4 and a nice end to the show.

Only show my dad would walk into the living room late at night when he couldn't sleep at 65 and ask... *"ANY MORE ON THE DVR?"* YUP! We'd go through seasons late at night when he couldn't sleep. He was a smart man, Rick and Morty contains intelligent humor that helps to switch your brain off to get every one of those brilliantly crafted connections throughout the entire plot. RIP

Over the summer, I am going to write a whole paper on my interpretation of a rick and morty episode. the pickle rick episode, I could’ve already done that.. but Harmon making a point to it referencing alcoholism makes it easier to focus on a narrative for a good paper on that one, so there must be other intrinsic values hidden in the other episodes 😂
