Dan Levy is the writer, co-creator, and star of the hit series Schitt's Creek, which just wrapped its sixth and final season on PopTV and will hit Netflix later this year. But how is he with spicy food? Despite some words of encouragement from Kristen Stewart, he's not too confident going into his date with the wings of death. As he tackles the sauce gauntlet, Dan discusses Drake, Kanye West's Gap collaboration, sweaters, Jason Biggs, Schitt's Creek easter eggs, and much more.

What episode or season is where I should start enjoying it? I watched the first 3 episodes and they were bore cringe but I see a lot of people liking and want to experience it the way they do. Edit: I appreciate all of the encouragement. With the help of the comments and the fact that I walked into my 80 year old grandmother's house to see she was finishing season 5, my fiance and I gave it another go. We are halfway thru season 3 and I'll agree with you all, it's pretty brilliant.

99% of TV shows don’t make it past the pilot. The vast majority of those that do, don’t make it past the first year. When they have a hit they don’t want to let it go. It’s understandable, but it definitely brings the quality down.

@@hades773 A lot of the sauces that are on Heatonist.com run more like $10-$20, but I agree - it's probably just tough to do since they all come from different companies and are just resold through the site, so getting all of them to add a smaller option for just one sauce in their full lineup would be a bit of a hassle (plus Da Bomb has to be bought on its own from elsewhere). My friends and I found the best way to do it was for each of us to just buy 3 or 4 at various heat levels and then get together to do the tasting, then trade with each other for the ones we each liked the best (or go buy it ourselves if everyone wanted it, bc whoever brought it had first dibs).

He's an awful interviewer... he just reads questions that are written for print, not for TV. He doesn't allow each question to prompt a separate discussion, or does he ever reply or ask an impromptu question from their answer. It's just transparent/pre-written question, then answer, transparent/pre-written question, then answer. It allows for zero chemistry. Just admit it... you're here for the celebs and the hot wings.

Dan is my absolute favorite person that I have ever watched on tv. He is a genius and that show has helped me while I have been battling an incurable disease in my spine that is slowly taking everything from me. It has given me something that calms my anxiety and just makes me feel good. I would have watched for a 100 more seasons. I now just have it on a loop so as soon as I finish, I restart it. I’m at my 41st time watching start to finish right now. I’m hoping someday he will hear what this show has done for me. I’m also a mom of a gay son and the moment he came out to me years before SC started was one of the happiest of my life, and what he has done for the lgbtqia community is amazing. Thank you so much for doing this with Dan!
