Your channel came up a couple days ago. The video I watched was about how restorations are priced. I watched an old one describing your business. Good stuff. I’m a Mustang guy and purchased a 65 6 cylinder in July. As for the Vette I like the split window. BTW I subscribed to your channel 😊

I had a 65 roadster in 1974. No bumper on the front. Still my preferred model. I was 22 at the time. Wow. Where did the time go.

Nothing like cruising Chicago’s Lake Shore Drive in a 67 Corvette roadster with the top down back in the 70s. Pulling through the gears with the lake breeze through the hair. Watching the Playboy tower beacon rotating through the air. At 6’3” any top, hard or soft, is just too claustrophobic.

Love vettes but never liked a convertible. No roof looks silly on any ride...in my opinion. That 63 conversion is badass!

I love convertibles but strangely enough, if I were to by a 1965 Corvette, I'd want a hardtop coupe. Dark blue with charcoal interior.

Yes, it's still removable - we'll do a webisode later about how we manage the fuel-filler extension. If you're serious about wanting one, use our submit a project link - projects.fantomworks.com/. Yes, we made several of the tops the last time we had the mold out.

Very cool! How do you deal with the trunk when modifying to a split window? I mean I know its no longer useable, but do you just remove the latch mechanism and fill the gaps on the trunk/body area or?

The split tops Dan designed are removable. So no, when it's on you can't use the trunk.

Split window hard top I had one for about 30 years and I had a crooked Lawyer steal me car legally he said I owed him $5,000 the Court said pay him and receive your car well I suffer from PTSD and was sleeping in my station wagon when this guy comes along

IMHO putting a 63 split window top on a 64,65, 66,67roadster, convertible devalues the car. Being a certain number of 63 split window corvettes came from Chevy, building more split window corvettes devalues them. I appauld you for trying to do something different.
