I think sometimes it's a mask and sometimes it's his actual face, depends on the game. I remember reading somewhere a long time ago that he suffered so many blows to the face his nose got disfigured to resemble a tengu.

@@haydenhyde9395 Not really, it's the same old Morrigan sprite. BUT, there was a Mugen SVC-Style Morrigan which some fan updated her sprites to that style, and it was awesome. Maybe you got confused with that.

@@farhanasharmin8997 In puzzle games like Tetris and Puyo Puyo, you attack by sending other players garbage blocks (by clearing or destroying blocks or lines) and they'll lose when the blocks reach the top of the board. In Gem Fighter, by making a ball (I don't know what it's called, I haven't played that game) contacts the block with the same color, you'll destroy all the blocks with the same color connected to each other, and because Dan's attacks only send you red blocks, which means with a little luck you can easily destroy all the garbage he sends to you.

I would have went with *"Shinkuu Ha-NOSE-Ken,"* but that definitely works too! 👍

actually, there's a few death animations that are references and that any character can have happen there's the arthur one you mentioned, there's the megaman explosion, there's the final fight "fall on the ground and flash"...

That's my complaint too. It's like they have a library of IPs but they don't do anything with them. No even cameos in other games. It's like they want to forget their legacy, even though it's where they got them where they are.

At this point, I'm hoping for Super Hero Squad vs Pocket Fighter aka Marvel vs Capcom: Mini Mix. One day, one day.

dnmstarsi that would definitely make the most sense. The old-school Marvel fan in me wants the X-Babies (though it was later expanded to Avengers) just to have a realistic Mojo as the final boss to beat up, but I understand going for the greater appeal. We need new games with as much charm as Pocket Fighter and Rival Schools.

I think if they did a new Pocket Fighter they should keep the character selection down to one of each body type, and go crazy on move based costume changes. So the 'short male' character gets an attack where he wears a wolverine costume and does something like wolverine's slide or bezerker barge. The 'muscle' male character gets one of Colossus' moves and the costume. The roster should be small, but the costume references should be all over the place.

In all(?) of the other games in which Dan appears, he uses a...Raging Suicide???...instead. The move drops him down to one pixel of life (whether it connects or not) except in here.

Found out there were a lot of variation to those languages from someone I used to talk to online. Pretty fascinating to find that out.

@@Shift_Salt Yeah even in Brazil on each region we have a LOT of different types of speech, but I think that's super neat, it cool to see how people within the same country can speak the same language in different ways. Obviously this is not a Brazil thing only, but it's pretty common to hang out with people that used specific words that I never heard of and it's cool to learn about them :D

Portugal speaks Portuguese Brazilian (Br-Pt). Max is very accurate.
