I just binged your DGD stuff for hours now. I'm a huge fan. I started with Tilian like you, but Jonny's vocal talent is unmatched. I highly recommend Elder Goose and Purple Reign on the Downtown Battle Mountain 2 album.

There are no music videos for any Johnny Craig DGD songs, only 2 Kurt Travis DGD songs have videos, they saved them all for the Tilian era lol. You gotta keep checking out DBM, Lemon Meringue Tie is SSS tier DGD, its a crime no one has recommended it yet

LMT was always one of my first favs on the album but it slowly dropped on my list as I started listening to the other ones more and more.

@@vinny1537 I got into DGD during Death Star/Kurt era but LMT will always be my favorite Johnny DGD song. I’ve seen them live 5 times in the Tilian era and have never seen LMT played live. Would have seen it last time they came through but Jon had covid so we got a much weaker set list with several changes bc of that 😢. My city got skipped two USA tours ago and they played LMT that whole tour, and DGD got kicked off the next tour I had tickets for. Multiple tours around the world since and nothing announced for USA yet, I’m doubting if I will ever see this song played live in person

I think you've heard 2 songs from DTBM (as far as the reactions go). "Surprise I'm from Cuba..." & this one. I would love to be wrong 😆 DTBM should definitely be the next album reaction after "Mothership". IMO DTBM & Mothership are a tie for best DGD album. I second Lemon Meringue Tie lol

I love alot of their new stuff but dtbm is really unbeatable My top 3 1. Dtbm 2. Death star 3. Artificial selection or happiness (their interchangeable)

If you like the layering/riffing back and forth of the vocalists, might I recommend For the Jeers, Current Events, or One Man's Cringe (songs off of Jackpot Juicer, their latest album)? They both have Andrew, Jon, and Tilian trading off with one another
