Jim Steinman is a gods-sent composer! This version, with no Meat Loaf flavour also impressive, full of drum, choir and soloist energy!

for everyone asking, the singer as the count is kyle Gordon. but he only did this song in a demo, not the whole musical, unfortunately, (ive looked)

the only song i like more in english from this awesome musical ,the other songs are alot more emotional and deeper in german language ,cus german has alot more words to descripe emotions and feelings than english ... great song

I love America and England but there is just one thing wich is much better in Germany: Dance of the Vampires (Tanz der vampire) the musical is awsome but in Germany more awsome than anywhere :-D but now it's gone :'( hopeful not forever :-(

@taligerie Mhh, i mean this is the broadway version, but who sings the solo part sing i can't say. I'm German, this is the problem xD Who songs the solo part in the G-Musical i can say but in this version I have no plan >.

I saw this musical three times in German it was AMAZING! But now seeing this makes me sad... Usually I think that EVERYTHING souds better in English, but this sucks -.-° The translation, the vocalists.... The music's great of course ;p

And?? It's still a great version, even if it sounds different. His version of "The Future Ain't What It Used to Be" is SUPER different too, but they're both fantastic in their own regards

I did not say, that MeatLoaf didn't do the song well, did I? I just meant that you can't compaire the Musical-Version and the Song by MeatLoaf...

The same writer that wrote a lot of music for Meatloaf and Bonnie Tyler wrote the music for this musical. I’m partial to the Russian performance, Hungarian is decent as is the original German cast. Pity that we can’t get the choreography of this song in English, the solo dance of the Black Vampire is amazing.
