I want to point out. Y’all said that you thought Rin would be the final boss and that it happened fast but Rin actually is the final boss of this arc. The second selection ends when you get a team of 5 players so essentially when you win the 4v4 match. This game is possibly the last game of Isagi’s squad to complete the second selection if they defeat Rin so yeah he is the final boss.

On the why for why the kids were treating Bachira like that in the first flashback where they said they didn't wanna play anymore, and that he's weird, it's because most people, especially children wouldn't find it super fun to just constantly get mixed every time they play with someone. Especially for children, unless the person's really dedicated to the thing, or really stubborn or spiteful the kid is gonna say "Fuck this I don't wanna play no more." And start throwin insults at the person mixing them. I empathize kinda lol, I just got quiet and left when I got mixed tho.
