Im not a woman (but the pockets i have in my usual pants can hold big beer in cans easily and that not including cargo pockets near my knees. I could walk around with about 10 beers in my pockets if i had a good belt) but i heard you don't have pockets because they affect how the material folds or whatever so it wouldn't look as good with them. Also a lot of women use their purses as accessories to their wardrobe. So pockets in women clothing would affect only a fraction of them in a good way but it would make the clothing harder to make to look as good as it does now. If you rather have good pockets just wear cargopants then you have pockets for days.
