No. Way. That is the "flageolet" thing I've been doing every day! This pure head voice sound has made it possible for me to belt and even made my speaking voice higher.

You watch alot of KZfaq flageolet is whistle voice not what your 24 year old coach told you 😂. Don’t fall for inexperienced coaches there is falsetto then another falsetto like chest and upper chest then flageolet whistle

@@danielformica-yourvocalteacher Well, I've been singing for over 20 years, and the only sound that ever benefited my voice was this pure head voice sound. I suppose, some call it "closed" falsetto. I can hold it out for a minute on the same pitch you did. Problem is, I now have a vocal split from doing that too loud and it has become impossible to access distortion below F4 in full voice. So, as useful as the pure head voice sound is, it can make your voice fall apart if you overdo it. Mine wants to flip to a thin sound instead of thickening as it ascends, so I think I over-strengthened something.

@@into.the.wood.chipper. I could help with that you brought it down to low. We have registers for a reason and we have to abide by them if not we get off balance and suffer in the other registers

@@danielformica-yourvocalteacher how about... Robin McAuley, Mark Boals, Jizzy Pearl, Myles Kennedy, Ritchie Kotzen, Robert Mason, Phil Lewis, John Corabi, Geoff Tate, Kip Winger, Devon Townsend (check out the album he did with Vai).. I like rock vocals so would be great to hear from those guys.. i think most of them do interviews with other youtubers so good chance they would be up for it..

Why is it easier for Baritone?@@danielformica-yourvocalteacher

in a nutshell the tenor can unsupported speak lets say on a A4 the baritone definitely cannot so when it comes to those notes the baritone knows exactly how to sing it the tenor has choice which fools his mind into thinking its ok only to have no security up there if he continues to sing with no support@@stebolian

It’s a sign your falsetto is in an advanced stage try and support it to full voice without cracking. You’ll find singing higher is much easier
