@@PikeBishop1 I've tried to watch Casino royale and spectre so many times they are just poor movies and If I was watching the new one at home I would have turned it off . The dialogue was poor, I had no emotional connection to the actors and actually wanted bond to die really early to get it over and done with, the action sequences were shot so poorly and overall I'd give it 3 out of 10

Do you know why he is now the most engaged and excited? It's because he is just giddy to be done with playing James Bond. I truly believe he is relieved and can finally exhale. I think it was very rewarding and meaningful in his career but I think it was also grueling and stressful to carry the franchise for the past 15 years. He is just happy to be done. But having said all that...he was the best bond ever.

He is certainly an excellent actor to play the character of James Bond die. However, you maybe don't quite consider Ian Fleming's intentions when he created the character. It is certainly very common for protagonists to make a heroic exit, but here it simply has nothing to do with the character of Ian Fleming. With such deviations from the DNA of the Bond franchise and the producers own interpretations, they risk to not only snubbing the loyal Bond audience, but also associating all product placements with negative feelings. For me, it is an entertaining film that has nothing to do with a traditional Bond film. James Bond is humorous, doesn't take himself too seriously, somewhat chauvinistic and immortal, because he can always get himself out of any impossible situation with his gadgets.

I would love to see a Bond film where it surrounds the past of the agents who held the title of James Bond. The film would start with the death of Roger Moore's 007 and then to see Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig all help to hand over the reigns of the next and newest Agent to hold the position of 007 as the whole program is being targetted. And of course they should do more to show the other Agents in the program, 001 through 009.. Center the story on past, present and future. We'd probably see the older Agents sacrificing themselves one last final time for King and Country to make sure the latest Bond succeeds.

@@MALICEM12 The studio's actually wanted to do this earlier and bring back Sean Connery as the past bond. It's not a far fetched idea actually. The only reason it didn't happen is cause Connery didn't want to return. You gotta remember, they asked him in 2011, he was old and battling an illness that later took him in 2012. If I got to write it this would be a scene in the next Bond Film where the newest Agent has passed training and is being approved for the 00 Progarm and M is quickly laying out the Agency's history. Keep in mind, this is off the top of my head here. I would write it that the new M is talking to our newest 00 recruit and they talk about the war and the new world that came after it, the new type of Agent. An Intelligence Officer trained in all forms of weapons, combats and gadgets. A specialized Spy. A 00 with a license to kill. Connery's Bond was the top Agent across all agency's, he became the original agent, the first in the newly formed Mi6 and it's 00 Program, before they were an agency. He then retired to be with his wife and coming newborn child. (Craig was actually born the year Connery didn't play Bond) Having retired, he's given a new identity and the name James Bond is adopted by the 00 Program for their top Agent, the 007. Lazenby's Bond, showing promise was offered the position which he did, but it was too much, he tried to quit, then we know his story, his newlywed wife murdered. This leads to Connery's Bond returning to end his nemesis reign once and for all. Having mission successful he retires once again. Then we have Moore's Bond, (I'd also write it here that other Agents tried to fill the shoes but died trying and as a joke, I'd use likenesses of actors considered for the role but lost out to Moore lol.) Then he'd show the files on Dalton's Bond, Brosnan's Bond and recently Craig's Bond who is either retired or dead, depending on what happens in the next movie lol. Then we get into the guts of the next film. Opening.. Moore's Bond, (an actor stand in, no cgi) is retired, on the phone, we hear an old voice, a previous M, warning him of other former agents being found murdered and possible exposure and Bond replies, ya know, I'm old if it's my time, hangs up and meets his demise. (My Bond opening would be themed Papers with Redactions all over, pictures of all the former Agents, pictures of victim's with their faces Redacted.) Act 1, getting to know and history, training and acceptance mission. Act 2, quick history, welcome to the program and meeting Q, learning of the threat and their first official mission. Act 3, Screwing up and getting a little help from Brosnan's Bond. Act 4, the big reveal. After Tracy's death, Lazenby's Bond took it really bad, drank alot. He ended up getting revenge, but he also took a blow to the head and got Amnesia. This however wasn't as cut and dry. He could remember only bits and pieces. But he remembered Tracy and their love, and he remembers her death. He doesn't remember everything and turns to her father who tells him it was Mi6's fault in his anger because they were blind to protecting their own. Lazenby's Bond is seen by her father as his son. He teaches and raised him to head the Unione Corse to which he modernizes the organization to stay completely off mi6's radar, expands it to other things like information and security, his own Dark Mi6, and his life goal was to find the people responsible for her death. He disappears some of the few he knows, but not all. It takes him 52 years, but over the that time he has been killing their agents, making it look so natural that nobody had every suspected foul play. Now that he's dying and getting close to killing them all he's grown impatient. His original reasons blurred by decades of hatred, now he wants to kill everyone. Everyone involved with Mi6, past and present. He and his team of Dark Agents attack a target hard to get what they need, the mi6 Noc List of all past and present agents and it's up to the 00's to stop him.. Except at the end of the next Bond the visiting team are the winners and the next 007 after a intense battle has to retreat, heal, regroup and strategize while the news begins reporting of assassination's all over the world of former Mi6 personal. He's not doing it himself. He released the names for free to all the criminals, gangs, anyone with a grudge against law enforcement and hired a few assassins' himself. (This would be my dark side theme moment of the Emperor walking with Vader) Lazenby's Bond holds a drink and stares at a picture of Tracy from their wedding day and the new 007 enters with a gun, covertly killing getting in only to find out Lazenby's Bond already killed himself by drinking a poison he was holding in his glass as 007 snuck into the building Lazenby saw, an ex trained 007. Beside him is a laptop with a recording which 007 plays and Lazenby's Bond explains it all. To make the Agency stronger by culling the weak. To make the Agents that failed to protect him on his wedding day pay and that no one would ever forget the sacrifice that they made. He finalizes his statement by saying he respects the new 007 and has not made their identities pubic, nor has he taken contracts on them. Wishes them well, and warns 007 of loving someone in that job.

@@MALICEM12 Also, Judy Dench is Olivia Mansfield, Brosnan's M, and Craig's M as well clearly showing that James Bond, is in fact, an Alias.

@@JaybayJay Literally, it's not a codename. A director here and there wanted to do something with Connery in Die Another Day but it was rejected outright. Also, in Skyfall Connery was approached with the role of Kincade. NOT Bond. M is played by Judi Dench two times because Judie made a good M. lol. That's it. And Craig's films were an outright reboot so they could just do what they wanted. Previous Bonds had scenes dedicated specifically to show it was the same character. Skyfall is as unambiguous as it gets about this, complete with a backstory about where he and his parents, also Bonds lived(said backstory is based on the books in which there is also only one Bond). Once he left MI6 after Spectre, we also again saw that he remained James Bond(because that's just always been the man's name from birth) even after losing the 007 number which was taken by Nomi. Between, Lazenby's Bond reminiscing on his adventures from the Connery days(connecting the two), Moore's and Dalton's Bond visiting and/or mourning Tracey Bond and so on. Even still, Craig's Bond, which was a rebooted version of the character remeets old characters including Felix Leiter and Blofeld. Blofeld in particular gets his name from his Mother. Moreover, MI6 is not aware of what Spectre is in Spectre. If it was actually a continuation of older pre craig Bond films, they'd know. But they don't because these are new versions of the same old characters dealing with a new version of the same bad guy.

I've heard rumors that there was talk about trying to get Connery back as either Andrew Bond (James' father) in the 80s or a villain in the 90s but that got kiboshed by him being Henry Jones Sr. in "Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade" for the former idea and August de Winter in the howl-worthy movie adaptation of "The Avengers" (UK spy show, not Marvel). Plus, I've recently heard Cary Fukunaga is a big "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" fan, so I'm surprised there wasn't any effort to get Lazenby to have a role in "No Time to Die" due to the similarities between the two films.

Felix lay down in the middle of two blood splattered victims . Lifting Bond's head very slowly "Well James, I did ask you years ago how you saw your final act?!" Bond coughed, assisting the quickening trickle of blood down his shattered chin. " Well Felix. Serving others and laying down my life if it meant another lived" Bond tried to sit up as Felix supported his badly burnt body . Suddenly the other victim sat up, lent forward and looked across at his fellow 00 . "Well there is your answer James " said Felix in a whisper . Bond's final heartbeat peacefully left planet earth.
