Following Christ is part of commandment keeping of being a disciple of Jesus Christ. (1 john) Rev Chapters 2 and 3. That's why Jesus went through all the commandments of God with the Rich man to see if he was keeping them in his life and then pointed out in his life what was still lacking....Likewise, Here's Jesus going through all the 7 churches to see if they are keeping God's commandments or not and he says to the saints of all these churches that if they are not doing it keeping the commandments of God they won't get their reward so one by one he chastises the saints in the churches..... God expects the Commandments to be lived in order to endure to the end or God's grace cannot endure. That's why Paul warns the saints they must keep the commandments after baptism for the rest of their lives or they will fall away from Grace if they don't. ....Grace only Christians don't have any right to try to excuse themselves from living God's Commandments.... In fact if you don't live the commandments, then Grace cannot do its work to change you to become like Christ. Then if you can't become like Christ, then you are not even fit to dwell with God in his kingdom as Jesus clearly tells the seven churches just where they stand with him when it comes to works. Grace works when we live the Commandments of God in our lives, it doesn't come because of our own works alone, but it comes because its the result of being obedient to God. That is why James writes, you show me your faith without works and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Then he concluded that Faith without works is dead being alone.... Because it is by our works we will be judged by God in the Judgement. (Rev 14:12, 20:13:) For we must have good works in our lives. Jesus taught 'Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven' (Matthew 5:16.) Jesus made the point very clear when he also taught 'Whosoever, therefore shall break one of these least Commandments and teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven, but whosoever SHALL DO and teach them, shall be called the greatest in the kingdom of heaven' Matthew 5:19 Like it or not the Kingdom of Heaven has Commandments. Because God is a God of law. And in order to inherit the Kingdom of the Father, the Commandments have to be kept. 'Blessed are they that do his commandments, for they shall have right to the tree of life (Rev 22:14) Jesus taught a Faith and Works through Grace gospel.

Philippians 2:5-11. You should also remeber that Jesus had two natures. He was fully God and fully man. He lead as an example for us. And God is the truth, so why would he say I am the truth, the way, and the life..." Could the prophets claim any of this? NO! So, why did he say it? God bless you and your family! Secondly, God added a human nature to Himself. Jesus was both God and man. He didn't change. He was still holy, sinless, the first to perform miracles, had the authority to forgive sins. And you completely misinterpreted that Numbers 23:19 verse. I'll send you a link explaining that verse later.

He had sex with a 9-year-old girl and married his adopted son's wife (after arranging a quick divorce). So, by any realistic measure, the creator of the world's most sexually restrictive religion was also one of the most sexually indulgent characters in history. xo_mmarita _xo In America, there are a lot of denominations for Christians to choose from: Catholic, Baptist, Assembly of God, etc. We call Catholics "Christians." We also have nondenominational churches that say "we are not a particular denomination - just Christian." All of those denominations/nondenominations have the same major beliefs (like Jesus is God's son who put our sin upon himself and died to give us his righteousness ...and he is coming back again). Anyone who agrees on the major aspects of the gospel is considered a brother or sister in Christ - even if they are of a different denomination. But they are all still different groups because they have different minor beliefs like "baptism at birth with confirmation as an adult" OR "dedication of babies with baptism as an adult." They remain unique but are still one in Christ. Denominations used to stay very separated here, but now a lot of them have realized that they are still brothers and sisters even though they are unique. As long as the Holy Spirit lives in them, they are family. "Charismatic" means that I believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit: like healing, prophesy, miracles, etc. In that last post, I was just saying that I grew up Catholic too, but have been involved in a lot of denominations over the years. Each one has its own strengths. I dont agree with everything in all of those denominations, but they are all my family because Jesus Christ lives in them all. One of my big passions is that every Christian learn the full grace message. I think a lot of churches mix in the old covenant with the new covenant of Jesus. Joseph Prince has a book called "Destined to Reign" that explains this well. It was on the best selling book list for a while. I love how reverent the Catholic church is and some of their symbolism is rich in meaning and history. Y'all have some really beautiful things happening. How arrogant of you to assume God will allow both of you in heaven. Maybe he has other plans. Maybe heaven doesn’t exist. Maybe you won’t see other people there. You don’t know.

The Bible says it’s the lord who judges us and not to judge nothing before the appointed time when the hearts of men will be exposed . He will expose our own hearts to us, because remember not everyone that says Lord,Lord and also are hearts can be hard to know . It’s like a person that assumes they are healthy, but in reality their may be something into of them lingering around that they don’t know about and I think our heart can be like that without us even being aware , we’re imperfect and God is the ultimate judge

Also, there is burnt white sulfur found in the supposed sites of Sodom and Gomorrah. Plus the numerous testimonies of how God changed people's lives plus my own. Also, Lee Strobel tried to prove that God isn't real by using facts and evidence, but not only did he fail, but he became a Christian because all of the evidence he tried to use in order to prove God isn't real, actually lead him to believe that God is real.
