Daniel Radcliffe has shared new remarks on Harry Potter author JK Rowling after the pair publicly displayed their opposing views on the trans debate.
In a new interview, Radcliffe has admitted he hasn't spoken to the author for years and branded the fallout over their trans views as "sad".

Transwomen are not women, that's a fact. Radcliffe was young but not so naive not to no that. He wanted to stay relevant and felt the need to comform to the prevailing opinion of the mode of the day. Understandable, we're human beings and feeling the need not to be left out of a group is something that people do, expecially teenagers. He was wrong, he feel sad about it now but still hasn't develop enough into adultwood (some people never do) to come out with a respectful apology and with a proper admission of his mistake.

The Gender Recognition Act says otherwise. Nothing to do with biology. The GR certificate offers trans people some dignity and protection from discrimination, so they do not have to have their gender identity called into question when they are asked to prove who they are. It is as simple as that. They do not need reminding that they are not "real women" (or men) by anyone.

I saw him in another film recently. Sorry, but he does not have any talent at all - just awful actually. The films made him and he couldn't have made it on his own - just his Harry Potter looks really, but even if he wasn't artificially platformed that way, his views are no better or worse than anyone on a bus.

@@Adam-sd2ow I can't get that time back - I wasn't a fan in general, but his "performance" made it all much worse for me, much, much worse actually. I am sorry to say it as I think he means well and in some senses has turned out to be a victim of a resemblance to a fictious character. Victim is relative in terms of his gains financially and in celebrity, but the acting chances have just been a waste - as he seems to know.

The actor is a nobody only made known by a brilliant author. He has been reduced back to nothing (like the rest of the 3) after HP. No doubt if JKR were to write another HP book, all three will jump at the chance to relive their roles. I guess they will just reject JKR coming to Grand Opening Night 😂
