I'm digging the part around the 19:10 min mark, where Royden is talking about how magic happens when you work quickly and from your gut (how you makes decisions that you wouldn't otherwise make if you had the time to second guess them.) It's a profound concept, and something that's been on my mind lately as I've putting the hours in on my own comic. I'm starting to feel all the skills and years of experience now starting to be led by an artist's intuition, which has in turn allowed me to work faster and more confidently. It's a pretty great feeling. :)

heh I can definitely relate. Quit my "dream job" in games in LA, moved to Oregon, and started doing my own thing. I haven't regretted it once. I just can't work that way anymore.

I met Daniel Warren Johnson at the Seattle Comic Con and he was such a pleasant person - and so much talent. I really like that guy.

Oh man I loved these podcasts from back in the day! So glad you're doing them again! They are a great company during inking sessions on the book I'm trying to make. And thank you for introducing me to Rust -- had never heard of it but I just finished volume 1 and going on to #2 now. Good stuff!!
