Why is nobody talking about what the song means? I heard the studio version and the MV, but when I heard you sing this version, its so raw, and the lyrics really sink in. I'm in a similar boat with the lyrics, which is a funny coincidence I found your song. For me, when what's left of a long relationship are its dying ambers, and somehow both of you try to fan it so a fire can alight... but "I want something real. These days its hard to feel.""I want something more, than words that hit the wall". Stuck in between, rocking in the shores, numbed by all the rocking, wanting something real. Thanks for making a song to describe the complicated feelings that are hard to put into form.

She sang it like this in Chicago. God, what a night! It made my entire year. I was front and center and was completely humbled as a human being and a musician. She always gives a little piece of herself when singing and she did not skimp on this one at all. And perhaps to some she isn't the best or whatever but it's not all technical, it's not all about what's popular, it's the feeling you get. She's something else in my book. Thank you so much Daniela! I'm always on the look out for whatever you want to share with us. Please never stop doing what you do. The day you do will be a sad one. It sounds selfish but you truly are an inspiration and gift to some of us. And aside from the cheesiness, this acoustic cover was great! Totally agree with some of you when we should have an acoustic version of the EP.

Ever since the announcement of this EP "Shore", and since the announcement of the Asia + North America Tour, I knew I couldn't miss you perform. So I bought my ticket and saw you perform at The Gramercy Theatre. Seeing you and Gia Margaret perform was such a surreal experience and all throughout the performance it was nothing but chills. Easily, "shore" became my favorite song from the EP since I did pre-order it but seeing this being performed live in the front row at Gramercy, was something else. It really makes a difference hearing this from the album version to actually watching this being performed Live in concert. Daniela, you've gotten so far since you've started and from here all I see is great things coming your way. Hopefully you do tour more often and hit up NYC again. Kinda sad I missed you by a few minutes so I didn't get to take a picture with you but hopefully next time I can get the chance to take a picture with you and get my shore poster sign. Wish you nothing but the best in 2017!

I went to your concert in SF and it was such an amazing experience. I've seen a decent amount of people in concert before but yours was the one that sticks out the most to me. no flashy gimmicks or projectors, just someone and her music. I just wanted to say thank you one way or another. you and your music really helped me out a difficult time in my life. I was in a state of depression and was suicidal, but I could always count on your music to soothe me when I needed it. I think "Dark Coffee" and "Take Care" are the most played. "Telegraph Ave" is up there since I live in Oakland. Will forever be grateful for your passion and a huge supporter of you. Looking forward to one day seeing you again. Cheers! Much love.

I've been listening to this song since release. Daniela always comes back into my life, no matter what phase of music genre interests me, I'll always end up returning to her Spotify page to listen to everything as if it were all new again. This song has been with me through so much. The Shore EP too, but more so this cover of the original track. Her voice calms me down so well, even in my worst moments, the instant I hear that first verse I'm put into such a calmer mood than before. The atmosphere from such a raw performance contrasted by such a strong and powerful ending makes me either sing along or get so involved in the music I stop thinking about literally everything else and get so absorbed into that specific moment. It's crazy how she's managed to calm me down no matter what, it's crazy how this complete stranger who doesn't know me whatsoever can manage to help me so damn much throughout so many stages of my life. Since 2014, I'd like to say: Thank you, so, so, so much, Daniela, for making music and being true to you. I guess I'm always gonna stick to your stuff, it's not like I can help it, anyways. it's funny how true this post is. it's been four years. i don't think i've listened to much of you since my 2020 era. but as my past self said, here i am listening to all of your stuff again, finding solace from the emotional songs like this, finding happiness and positive energy from songs in tamale, to the nostalgia of all the older covers i used to listen to. i've listened to your music so much that you've unintentionally shaped my accent. i used to sound **australian**. now though? people who've heard a canadian accent think i'm from there or at least detect it, as somehow singing along for all these years for so long has actually shifted my accent in a way that i can't even describe how much reflecting on it i like. this time, i find comfort as i go through a breakup of my 5 years, 6-ish month long relationship with the girl who i once thought would be my wife someday. my life changed so much - a hard and deserved redirection of my life and the man i've become to be. and yet when you belt that chorus it hits the same as that young adult once felt as he was going through his own changes. stats.fm says 67,252 minutes as of right now since my spotify account in 2016. my top artist by 18 *thousand* minutes; 12 days of music, and that's not including all the time i've spent on this platform listening to songs not on others like this one. thank you so much for making the music you make daniela, i hope nothing but the best for your future and whatever it holds for you - ramar

I was at Daniela's Singapore Tour last October. I really wanted to sing out loud when she asked the crowd to sing along with "Feel Good Inc." but almost all fans were really quite. hahaha. I can´t get enough of this song, every time I hear it is like the first time, I really love your voice and the way you perfomed it, so delicately, so deeply, so truthfully.
