IMHO I think Zverev is right up there with him. He was successful against djoko because he had a better game plan. He went more for winners, if rally was getting long he would drop shot.

One of his biggest advantages is his various play styles and strategies that he execute on demand. Tennis has seen players like Medvedev as well as players with a dominant play style (maybe an example would be Federer?) succeed. It would be interesting to see if Medvedev has a preferred play style at all. I am no expert, but I still think it's important for any tennis player to develop a pronounced, commanding strength and thus play style (while still maintaining quality in all parts of the game). Perhaps Medvedev indeed has chosen to develop a strength (he has served very well in the US Open final), and I think it will be good to just see how would he further develop as a player.

I‘ve said it from the first good results over a period, he might be the hardest one to play from the new(er)generation back 2,3 years. And the fact that he‘s the smartest tennis player i‘ve seen for a while (of the better known players), he‘s got a very special mix-up. Accuracy and ability to take the speed from its opponents and create effortless (compared to the hard-hitters) demage, again, with debt and asccurazy such as angles or derp in the middle of the court to neutrolize the challenge during the point. Hard to explain exactly in technical tennis english, not my motherlanguage. And to his insane service and footwork even though that tall, it‘s such a hard cold blooded dude to beat and he gives a shit about the Environment and on which side they are. This year he also showed some serious game on clay, which wasn‘t normal for him and his previous love about that surface. His ability to adapt his game due to the opponent hi‘s playing….he‘s at least already the nr one of the next big 3, they won‘t be more neither
