Baths aren't that common in India. When I visit my hometown, we fill a big bucket with hot water and then use a smaller bucket to put the water around the water around your body. Also, unrelated but pistachio ice cream is very popular! Unlike UK ice cream. (Although I find it a bit shit but thats just my personal opinion :)

Theory: It's a metaphor for sexually or just using people. The fridge doesn't want people reaching inside of it and taking what's in it, causing severe distress as it tries laughing it off and showing no sadness. It only shows it's fear as it's back is turned to people so they don't see it. The person feels like they're less than human, and only an object you can open up and consume it's innards to other people, hence why they're portrayed as a fridge.
